Signings, Cuts, Trades

definitely an insurance signing. Mike Davis had 762 scrimmage yards last season with the Falcons, including 503 rushing and 259 receiving.

they were really ugly yards too lol - it was like 3.6 ypc and he didnt look threatening - obviously was running behind a shit offensive line but was still very uninspiring

Really? I would go Bradberry primarily because he would add invincibility to our backfield. Slide Marlon to the slot where he excels. I was also tempted to go, Clowney, because just his presence makes QBs hurry up a microsecond next. Landry was my last choice. Can you explain your rationale please, just so I understand?

think the other 2 guys are better players - but landry's the guy who'll have the biggest impact on this roster - clowney maybe too

bradberry i dont really see as much of a fit - and also kind of ignored him because i think its exceedingly unlikely he's going to play here

Got it.

He production started falling off 2 years ago so it is not a blip but a downward trend now.

The thing that will show he is washed is not whether someone overpays for him, but how, wherever he goes, he will not be productive.
He played through 3 pretty major injuries for essentially his entire season.

Did this clown get this from another source?

ah yes - how could i forget production... i feel so silly having not thought about production ever before

i was stupid to base my evaluation of his play on the tape... i will do better in the future and only evaluate players on season yardage totals with no context like you fine sir

The tape of him not getting open which caused his production to fall. The tape of him not catching balls thrown his way last year which caused his production to fall. The tape shows why the production fell and the tape shows him looking slow and unable to separate.

Have to say, I think Eric learned his lesson from last year with Stanley and bringing in a veteran like Davis just to be safe if one of Dobbins/Gus isn't ready to go or has to start on the PUP list.

There’s too much smoke going on with the Landry and the Ravens. My spidey senses are telling me the smoke is all coming from Landry’s camp. Look at the Mike Davis deal. That shit came out of nowhere. That’s how we do business. Landry’s just using our name. He’s probably going to sign somewhere else, just wants more money.
