Signings, Cuts, Trades

This team isn't actually ready to play the Jets at the OLB situation. Means is an obvious PS call up. But like God forbid one injury even temporarily to Oweh or Houston and you will have legitimately 0 pass rush. Like way worse pass rush than the pass rush we've been complaining about for the last few years.

Imagine your pass rush as Oweh, Means, and Harrison coming to spell them. Jesus christ

Yeah I have no idea what EDC is smoking when it comes to thinking our pass rush or OLB situation is even remotely acceptable

But hey! Keep ten TEs instead. Maybe one of them can double up as a pass rusher too

Maybe this is recency bias but I can't remember a position group being this thin in a long while. This feels even worse than last years OL situation. Granted reinforcements will be coming but who knows how much we can count on that

QBs will be able to walk into the office and sign major contract deals, come back and still have time to complete the pass

I just think they’re banking on Bateman and Oweh to be the saviors of their positions WAYYY too much especially when they don’t have help
Yeah I mean we're really going to need Bateman, Oweh, Linderbaum, and Queen to have great years to have a chance to win it all

Tyre will always be overrated here for whatever reason
I've also noticed an unhealthy attachment to Tyre around here... maybe you and I can provide some detox procedure?
That said, I'm wrong far more often than I'm right about prospects so I do understand erroneous player crushes. And of course, I'd be much happier *if* he had panned out, but we saw really horrible play from him all along. Didn't seem to understand what he was doing, I suppose the issue was at least as much on the mental aspects of the game as his physical/technical limitations.

Let's hope that Cleveland can get his fitness issues in order and stay in shape so we don't have to completely diss all "big countries". I still have hope for him even if he wasn't someone I liked that we drafted, but when he's "on", he seems to do really well.

It’s a case of “need to be right about the player I loved” syndrome

The irony… if I cared enough I could go back to your almost daily posts of “I told everyone here he sucked but nobody wanted to listen!”. That just “need to be right about the player I hated” syndrome.

Tyre was forced to play OT over and over again and he was never a NFL OT. Literally we just thought he could be a decent guard if he was able to practice and stay there and stop being forced to OT by injury, which never happened until this offseason, and it just happens to be the same offseason where Ben powers put a stranglehold on the starting spot. @Sizzle is just an emotional clown who needs everyone here to see how correct he is, which is rare, so when it happens oh boy does he have to grandstand about it

After I saw him false start on a pull play and looking like a drunk ox while doing so told me just please give the job to Powers cuz I was done.

Honestly not really sure if Bateman doesn't have help. He definitely has one the better tight ends in the league to play with whom just continues to make plays even when he's facing double teams. There's really no evidence that James Proche and Devin Duvernay won't or can't be dependable receivers or playmakers this year. Oweh is a bit different but there's still Justin Houston. I don't think The Ravens expected Ferguson to pass away and for Hayes to be placed on i.r. I think The Ravens will figure out to edge rush situation though. There's some available vets that could help in free agency but truthfully in regards to Oweh and Bateman I think the expectations was for them to take the next step in their second year.

If you’re depending on Ferguson and Hayes to complete your pass rush OLB department, then you’re doing it all wrong lol

not really - neither would have been expected to start - they were expected to compete as depth and contribute on a rotational/situational basis while we await the return of bowser and ojabo to the fold - remember we brought in biegel too who then tore his achilles too
