Well theyve only got the info that the Raiders and Crosby have given, same as us until we did the physical, so it would make sense from their perspective

May be in the minority. I love Maxx Crosby, and he would've filled a major need and a culture fit. His recent years haven't been quite as league-leading dominant, but the change of scenery could've helped him get back into form.

That being said, I did not completely love the idea of giving up two 1sts to take on $30 million and a player who'd be 29 by the start of the season. And to your point, there were no ways to know, and we've seen it before where a player fail his physical and is sent back to the original team. So it's always a risk.

You'd have to assume it wouldn't be in their best interest to tank the asking price if they knew how much the physical would lower the price. Which isn't ethical or acceptable if that was the case. Just wouldn't be the first time a sale happened where the dealer hoped the buyer wouldn't look closely under the hood.

So they were trying to hide something... makes sense why we would be mad at them and I guess the only reason they are mad at us is they just spent all this cap and now have to take Crosby's cap back which might hurt them in getting those deals done.

There’s a lot of briefing against the the ravens coming out of insider mouths at the moment

Ravens hate operating through the media but they might need to brief some people just to change the narrative

Just think it’s our luck and fate for there to have been something serious flagged on his medical only for him to not miss a game over the next 4 seasons

Part of that is that we’re a small market team and don’t typically leak stuff to insiders

2 most likely parties briefing to the media right now are the raiders and Crosby’s agent who both have a real stakehold in making this seem like the ravens are the villains of the piece

One normal day of the Baltimore Ravens, that is all I ask for.
