Next Up: vs Jets

I have Andrews Ridley and Evans and my stupid fucking league decided this year that they will not allow drop/add during playoffs

I'm in the same boat and this is how I learned about Ridley's injury...

I am allowed to add though. Tempted by Hurst this week if Mandrews can't go.

That might not be a bad move. In my league WR and TE are interchangeable but in a TE league if the wire is thin Hurst could be a decent option. ESPECIALLY if Adams is out. We love our TEs!

Thanks. No matter how you slice it losing Evans is a blow. They do have an IR rule do I need to see if Flacons IR Ridley. Alshon is available I’d pick him up and play him over Andrews because on this short week I wouldn’t be surprised if we talked Andrews as if he’s ready and make him inactive at last minute or dress him and hardly use him

Just have to wait for Falcons to make a move Ridley is supposed to be done for season.
no question losing Evans is a tough blow. I definitely feel for you.

Just seen Higbee is available on waivers so I might make a play for him first. It's all moot with my receiving corps down to DK, Cooks and Washington though.

As for this game, it's another reason to be thankful that Buffalo didn't go as smoothly as we'd like. Keeps the players' minds sharp and makes this trap game a little less treacherous.

WTF

MARK ANDREWSTE, BALTIMORE RAVENS

Ravens TE Mark Andrews (knee) didn't practice Monday.
Andrews should be considered questionable for Thursday night's matchup against the Jets. The good news is his injury is reportedly minor, but it wouldn't make much sense for the Ravens to rush their featured pass-game weapon back for a game that they're presently favored to win by 15.5 points. Hayden Hurst and Nick Boyle could each be treated as upside TE2s with serious scoring potential if Andrews is ultimately sidelined.

  • RONNIE STANLEYT, BALTIMORE RAVENS

Ravens LT Ronnie Stanley (concussion) is in the league's protocol.
Stanley is tentatively expected to miss Thursday night's matchup against the Jets. It's a huge loss considering PFF has graded him as the league's No. 4 overall tackle among 63 qualified players. Still, the Ravens can probably survive just fine without him in this spot; they're presently 15.5-point favorites over the Jets.

  • LAMAR JACKSONQB, BALTIMORE RAVENS

Lamar Jackson (quad) was limited in the Ravens' walkthrough practice Monday.
Robert Griffin reportedly took all of the reps in the portion of practice open to the media. Jackson is tentatively still expected to suit up Thursday night against the Jets. Still, the injury could perhaps dissuade the Ravens from featuring the league's MVP frontrunner to too many unnecessary hits in a game that they're favored to win by 15.5 points. The offense is presently implied to score a robust 30 points.

I expect Lamar to play Thursday and him not practicing today is just a precaution for the most part, Andrews will likely sit since we have a boatload of tight ends we can deploy and give him rest. Stanley not playing is huge and worries me. I know the Jets don't have a pass rush but while I think Mekari can improve as he plays more games even though it's clear we miss Skura, not having the blind side protector hurts even more.

I mean. It's the day after a game and we have to practice. I'm not too worried about this. Although this is why Thursday night football needs to go away. It's way to hard for players to recover in such a short span

Stanley is worrisome but I think well be fine tbh. Well set up a gameplan to take into account the injury to Stanley. Wouldn't be surprised if Brown shifts to LT for the game.

I expect a heavy load of Gus Edwards

I’m most worried about Lamar and Stanley than Andrews. What a blow that is to my confidence. I know Lamar is probably precautionary but that’s still worrisome. I’m surprised Stanley is here because he never came out of the game.

we will keep Zeus, Jr. at RT and play Patrick Ricard at LT.

Saying Pittsburg is a meaningless game might get you a ticket to The Pit of Misery.
LOL....yeah that didn’t come out quite right. However, if Harbaugh got Lamar injured in a game where we had the #1 seed already locked up, I am not going to lie......I would be super pissed.

it was basically a walk through, but I agree with you, they need to eliminate Thursday Night Football.

It's going to be tough, but we should be able to deal with it for the time being. Thank goodness we got that 1.5 game lead because there are times when you really need it.

So that's a worrying injury report - and this is why TNF games should be abolished - Ronnie likely wont be able to play because he likely wont even have got through the protocols before thursday no matter what his symptoms were or have been

Lamar is described as day to day because of the short turnaround

Andrews has less time to recover also

this short week has come at an awful time

Not trying to be a jerk here but I’m a little confused: I thought you said Andrews could benefit from the short turnaround due to the “dead leg”? Did more info come out on his injury or is this a reverse course? Honest question no sharpshooting intended although it sounds like it. I haven’t had time to really keep up with this stuff anymore.

i said he could benefit from not sitting out this week generally vs playing - thursday is rough for anyone even without injuries to recover - while it wont necessarily be bad for andrews to play its still rough that we have to play thursday

At least it came vs team that we should beat blind folded.
