I think Williams would have played more this year if he hadn't been hurt, but there isn't really a reason to not play Bowser.

It sounded like Williams was starting to get healthy before the Titans game, so if he doesn't play vs. the Packers, that's when I'll start to take more issue with the coaches.

Timmy wasn't hurt from the beginning.
 
To be fair though ZDS had a fantastic start of the season and now has tailed off, unfortunately now when Williams has been battling an injury, but ZDS did show promise at the beginning few games.

ZDS improved on last year a bit. I wouldn't go that far and call it fantastic performance though.

he looked great vs the bengals until he got injured... he's looked ok since - much better than last year but nothing more than a steady player at a flashy position

He was one of the highest rated players at his position the first couple weeks and got several pressures and I believe a sack or two. He's been no impact recently but he did perform at a high level early on.

i think you might be conflating the preseason into the regular season - he's had 1.5 sacks all year and 1 of them was in his 8-10 snaps vs the bengals week 1 and then he was injured for the rest of that game as well as week 2 - i think his next ok game came vs the raiders but he's (justly or unjustly) led the team in 15 yard penalties for avoidable penalties (even if they were unjustified) - he's added very little to the team outside of preseason and week 1 except for a half sack in the dolphins game

I think one way to put him simply is he's exceeded expectation but is still an average at best player.

going into the offseason i mostly expected him not to make the roster - it was only through the preseason that he became a lock for me
 
The lack of situational passrushers and rotation is a big reason I do not like Pees as a DC. It really seems like other DCs would be doing a lot more with these pieces than he has been.

I feel this way as well. Use TWill as a chess piece and at his strength

To me Pees won't be here next season. Whether we go to the playoffs or not, the defense hasn't been as good as the personnel says it should be.
