Typically two or three starters is considered a successful draft. Yes this draft was very good. I believe the 2017 draft will be successful as well. Let’s nit forget Pierce came as an udfa to add to the 16 draft.

Judon has been heating up since the Bears game. They're looking pretty solid at OLB. I really wish they would play Z less; he's taking too many snaps away from our rookies. Henry has been heating up as well. They really need someone to cement themselves next to Williams and Pierce.
i may be wrong but i think bowser and williams came in for ZDS towards the end of the game a bit more often - hopefully a sign of what's to come
henry is a phenomenon in passing downs - i just hope we can keep him fresh by not wasting him on obvious running downs where possible - dude is thriving in the timmy jernigan role - id like to see chris wormley play a little bit at 5tech too
I agree with Wormley in 5t. Keeping Henry fresh is essential, he has some tremendous potential. Could pick in the 4th
i cant remember where the stat came from but in his limited snaps i think pff said he had a high pass rush grade

timmy also got 19 snaps which is cool that he seems out of the doghouse
the same cannot be said for bowser who had only 6 snaps on defence vs the packers which is why he didnt really do anything outside of the PD

Z is hurting us. I've had enough of him stumbling and tripping over his feet, whiffing on sacks, failing to change direction, etc. dudes good for a nice penetration inside but that's it, i honestly think if he adds 10 lbs he would be a monster 5T but as an edge rusher/OLB he is just not cutting it, day late and a dollar short for him always. Kicking him to 5T and letting twill and Judon play the DPRs I think would be far more effective, and with henry really gaining steam then we are looking at a ferocious pass rush across the board. Honestly ZDS playing so often as a pure edge rusher is really holding us back, we would have an absolutely dominant pass rush if he wasn't used so much
and how powerful his punch is - he's vicious and violent and bends and is fast
