WR/RB Thread

Rodney Anderson from Oklahoma? I gotta dive deeper but I like what I’ve seen at first glance. Vision and decision making are ehh, but his size/burst/quickness combination is unreal
I haven’t seen any film on him, but if he doesn’t have vision he’s not going to be a top back in this league

I said vision is ehh, not that he doesn’t have it. Nowhere near Trent Richardson, I like to pause every rb snap, scan the field right before the handoff, and pick what is the best gap to hit, derrius guice for instance was like 100%, fucker never missed a gap, Bryce love was up there, Royce freeman was up there, Ronald jones was abysmal, Anderson wasn’t bad, above average in that regard.

One guy to look at in the third or fourth is Myles Gaskin from Washington. Incredibly shifty, good vision, and will break some defenders ankles with his cuts. And, for the small things, he's a good pass blocker and runs low. The way he runs actually reminds me of Alex Collins.

Browns just released Josh Gordon. I wonder how long it’ll take for someone to speculate his arrival here.

Ah, misunderstood it.
No worries. My question was a bit ambiguous. I'm not sure I'd touch him, honestly. He's got a lot of baggage and may be talented but I don't know if we can handle him. Then again, anyone playing for the Browns would have emotional issues so that's kind of understandable, Joe Thomas the only one who ever escape that.

Don't forget Alex Mack.

And I'd take a flyer on Gordon. I like Brown and Crabtree but Gordon has looked like a true number one. Even has a short term rental he could help us get into the playoffs.

I think I'd give it a serious thought, based on a fact that he is extremely intelligent guy with unbelievable talent. I don't know if I'd be able to trust him, though.
Reality is, there's not much to lose. Cut Grant, which seems inevitable now anyway, and see how it goes.Gordon's dirt cheap and might want a clean start to prove himself.

I don’t give a fuck what his issue is. Vet minimum for josh Gordon? Absolutely. He is his own worst enemy, he isn’t a locker room cancer, he won’t bring down a team with his antics other than not suiting up if he slips up again, and he’s about as talented a wr as you’ll find.

Doesn’t matter unfortunately because they’re is no way the Browns trade him to us.
