I was just answering your question "does Sammy make our receiving core better". I wouldn't trade for him or even sign him though. But healthy, hell yeah he makes it better lol

There is no way we can afford to draft a running back higher than the forth honestly. Collins is incredible and his high tight carry makes his ball security look a lot tougher. This guy is a legit playmaker, we can't just ignore him. Add a solid lineman, bring back Dixon for the short yards, and we have a top rush attack easy. Give Collins the ball until he fails. 6+ yards a carry? What more could anyone want!

Ohhhhhh boy. Dixon + Collins combo has me salivating. Dixon is better than just a short yardage back though.

I get you ya, Sammy would be awesome on this team and I loved him coming out of Clemson. You know what would be awesome? He doesn't get the ball this season and takes a 3yr/10mil - similar deal - with us in the offseason.

Yea I love Dixon on third down also but I hope he can stay on the field. Dixon has awesome hands and is a great pass blocker. Collins is a big play threat and Dixon is a chain mover. Regardless I hope we rid of West and Woodhead, I don't want wasted carries.

We can only wish that Danny Woodhead remained/remains healthy. We only saw a small sample of what he has to offer but it’s something we sorely need. And Dixon has shown some promise in a brief period, hopefully he can come back, stay healthy and continue to develop.

I wasn't too overly excited when I heard about the Woodhead addition in the first place. That cat is way too injury prone.

I don't put any stock into counting on Woodhead to be honest.

That confuses me too. The moment we get inside the 10 we start chucking it At least run on 2nd down just to show and how many other times we have it 3rd and say 3 we show 5 wide with no threat at all to run.
 
RB update

Alex Collins is averaging 6.4 yards a carry. Currently sitting 16th for yards rushed on limited carries.

i do not think marty comprehends that. hopefully they can pull out the win sunday because the titans look like they will demolish us in 2 weeks. dolphins next thurs will probably be another bears type game on a short week. hope they can show some improvement in the passing game

This is interesting, but there is no way that his YPC hold up in an expanded role. He is a spark player that plays a huge role on offense, but I would definitely worry about overusing him, especially with his fumble issues.

On potential alone I bet he can get $8 or $9, even on a one year deal.
