Im so happy lamar doing this shit alone along with his mother.. i dnt understand why people would even give an agent that much money. Its thousands of contracts out there, just look at the ones that was set up good and boom.
From “ failed interviews” to “ cant understand what he saying” to now doing shit on his own.. boy if yall only knew how much i relate to this mf

Because not everyone has that kind of direction in their lives. Some need professional career guidance that they can’t get from anyone in their trusted circle

But i want everyone to keep this same attitude. Dnt switch up like how people did yannick and all the other guys we let walk.
I wanted to keep yannick only because we gave up draft picks for him and I’m not convinced he wasn’t worth keeping around at a fair price if we invested that much.

he didn’t go for a fair price, so what I wanted didn’t matter

I was one of the ones that wanted Yannick if we had the cap space to sign him, but i wanted Bowser before both. He was the most important of the three.

I'm also one that always values draft picks over free agents, especially when we are trying to keep a team together with a large contract to be paid to Lamar soon. I think this though process comes from my time as a skins fan where all they did was pay large dollars to free agents and trade picks away. lol

Was happy to let Yannick and Judon walk. My priorities were Bowser at a reasonable deal and McPhee, then work through the draft or possible trade.

You already KNOW that me and @JAAM wanted to keep Yannick. I stand by everything behind this and yeah I'm feeling like Thanos when he got the soul stone.
I really wish that worked out :(

I never liked yannick. Not even with jags. Im so used to our guys being versatile that it made not think he was all that.even after he barley played vs bills people still stuck up for him.. that shouldve been a clear indicator that he wasnt gonna stay here

Supposedly bad ankle and I don't want anything getting in the way of watching Cleveland do work.

Got a feeling the interior is going to get back to being dirty.

Heard he is mulling retirement because the ankle is so bad. Played through a lot of pain last year

Ben Cleveland has the Left Guard spot locked up most likely with Zeitler at Right Guard. DeCastro seems to be heading for retirement.

Hard pass after I saw this comment in a private Discord group I'm in: "David DeCastro's ankle is apparently still causing him trouble and he likely needed a third surgery on it."
I heard he has a bum ankle too. He's being released with a NFI designation which means he won't get any money from the Steelers this year. Seems like he passed the exit physical so they surmise that he injured his ankle between then and the start of OTAs.

Fully agree on this one. Yannick is a solid speed rusher, but that’s all he is; a speed rusher. He didn’t fit this team. We need pass rushers but in our system, we need guys who are more like Judon who can do everything on at least some level rather than a one trick pony (a very one trick pony too, all he literally had was the speed rush)

I love how our team is ran.. watching these mfs over the years really make me feel like that if its not ran like this, teams are doing it wrong. Im happy we dnt do what skins have done in the past lol. Now we got decosta for atleast the next decade so the marathon continues.
Seeing it from the eyes of a former fan of the Skins really makes me appreciate being a Ravens fan even more so. I think it even had me play the forum mock differently. Meaning I was always trying to accumulate picks!

Yeah, I actually like Yannick, but if he was a key piece on this team then he would have been out there more against the Bills. He just never really fit our scheme all that well and obviously got overpaid by the Raiders in free agency. I wouldn't have minded if we were able to keep him here, but I'm also not upset to see him go.

I mean we have complete opposites in Baltimore. The Ravens, who are ran very well, and the Orioles, who are ran very piss poor
