I’m sure it’s been posted here before, but damn, that’s a seriously hot start, and just as we all thought, he isn’t out here playing as a speed rusher, he is an absolute menace of an OLB all around.

idk if you watched my vid from this week but ive probably spoken about it too this week - Oweh's progression from week 1 to week 2 has been astounding - he's taking advantage of tackles hauling ass to get depth to beat him to the set point because they're scared of his speed and against the chiefs he started converting speed-to-power or countering inside

i am surprised by just how effective he is already with his hands - still sometimes missing but looking really aggressive, powerful and technical with his hands where in college i thought he was intuitive at the top of his rush with his hands but maybe not particularly accurate or technical

his speed of development so far has been incredible

it's interesting how Oweh, Turner, Tryon and to some extent Rousseau have so far all out-performed Kwity Paye, Jaelan Phillips

Was just thinking how spoiled we have been for most of 25 years with Stover and Tuck, 2 of the best kickers ever.

We've been rolling with 51 on the roster for quite awhile, but that might be changing soon.

Assuming Hayes and Stanley to IR at some point, so could have up to 4 spots. Rumors floating that Stanley might be shut down for a bit.

Based on today and how guys have been used, Bynes might be factoring into the ILB rotation with the struggles there. Seymour hasn't played any CB yet but can provide depth there. He's been on all of the ST units in his 2 games so far and will have one more callup before they have to make a decision.

Bateman should be back practicing soon even if he's not on the 53 right away. Boykin, Boyle, Phillips, and Westry all options for the 53 at some point as well.

Honestly I am not too worried about Stanley. He can take all of October and November to get healthy as the real schedule does not start until late November and he clearly is not game ready yet so hopefully time will fix that.

crazy. Stover actually was drafted by Cleveland in 1991, so he and Tucker have pretty much been the kickers for 30 years. The Ravens have had 2 yrs (2010 and 2011) where either Stover or Tucker wasn't the fg kicker. Of course Billy Cundiff happened in 2010 and 11 so there is that.

Nor am I. Stanley is good but not healthy Stanley isn't. I'd rather have him for the long term if that's the choice we have to make.

Also just going back to my original point, we now have a bevy of OTs we can rotate on and off of the 53 through PS callups so no concerns with filling that spot immediately.

I truly believe that had it not been for all of the injuries, this team could’ve legitimately been better than 2019, and that’s scary

Hauschka was here for a bit as a rookie, but wasn’t the same guy that starred in Seattle.

edit: 6 games in 2008 and 6 games in 2009.

Was Stover injured in both of those years, because he is still listed as a Raven in those years.

boykin social media seems to suggest he might be back at practice this week - i dont think bateman's ready yet (apparently boykin's been running but bateman not yet)

feels weird that they would i/r stanley at this point if they hadn't already... not like we need his roster spot right now

Likely cap related honestly. Once guys start returning, other guys go to IR to clear roster space. Nets out even in some respects. Just don’t think they’ve been willing to make 53 man moves for guys that won’t play or guys that still have PS call ups for cap reasons. No need to honestly. But eventually things will settle in and they’ll need those roster spaces.
