If I had the attention span I’d watch it but I’ll just take his word for it because I’ve watched him this whole season and I also watched his gameplan vs the chiefs last season as well, I don’t need a 3 hour filmstudy to show me this

i mean ive disagreed with a fair amount of what this dude has said this year and i dont have the patience to go through a 3 hour stream lol

best guess?

1) the unit upholds it's own standards - while you're here you train and play with the standards that the wolfpack does or you dont stay here
2) coaching - the dedicated kicking coach and staff here is still not a common thing in the rest of the league

those kickers that maintain their standards elsewhere (as well as just having the natural talent) make it and can play at a high level e.g. graham gano or will lutz or stephen hauschka

but others do fall by the wayside

id be worried about koch leaving as a holder in the same way that i was worried about morgan cox being let go - but the ravens are exceptionally good at identifying guys on special teams - they identified nick moore and made sure they kept him - im sure they'll do the same with a punter and a holder (it's great that they're the same person but no reason they have to be)

Let’s not forget we lost our special teams coach a few years ago and Moore was taught without him.
I think harbs being a special teams guy for so long really helps us keep a tight ship on st- but the underrated part is how much he cares / invests into getting the right staff for these things

Let’s not forget we lost our special teams coach a few years ago and Moore was taught without him.
I think harbs being a special teams guy for so long really helps us keep a tight ship on st- but the underrated part is how much he cares / invests into getting the right staff for these things

chris horton's been around since before Rosburg left - we had poor special teams play that first year after Rosburg went (hard to know what really went wrong - if anything - coaching-wise) but since then we've been back at the top of the NFL again
