Well ultimately, in the massively subjective world of "lets evaluate QBs" (a losing effort 100% of the time), it comes down to what do you "value" in your evaluation.saying Kirk Cousins is better than Lamar now is a ridiculous statement.
For example, if you're evaluating purely off of 2021...
Cousins had a higher completion %, significantly more passing yards/game, double the TD passes, half the turnovers, a higher passer rating, a higher yards/attempt and a higher QBR (though only slightly).
Is that meaningful? I don't particularly think so, but you can see what that argument is really, really, really easy to make in the abstract.
You could also argue that Cousins has favorable durability over Lamar (Cousins having not missed a game he intended to play 7 years). Normally you could point to one having significant postseason success over the other, but neither has really done anything in the playoffs, so its sort of moot.
