@Ice Bowl Quite curious your take on Jordan Love this preseason and what they ultimately do with him. He's had a great preseason and have to figure out if they are picking up his 5th year option in May 2023. Rodgers' contract is manageable cap wise but his cap hit balloons to $40M in 2024. So Rodgers retires paving the way for Love to take over in 2024 or is this a Jimmy G situation and Love gets traded for a high draft pick and you guys draft a new QB to take over from Rodgers?

That trading him thing would be completely retarded since he was a first round pick lmao. Plus he’s never had regular season opportunities like Huntley has, or especially as Jimmy G has so why compare him to Jimmy G and why say he’ll get a lot in return

Non event you say? Then tell me why Earl Thomas was kicked off this team for one simple punch thrown at Clark.... it does in fact matter. If the team had any balls they'd put some type of punishment there. But they don't, because they're LA. LA sucks ass
it wasn't just one simple punch. He had a lot of issues with the team and his teammates.

Yes but what Donald did was literally assault lmao. Taking a weapon (his helmet) to someone else is a textbook example of assault. I’m pretty sure if the other guy actually wanted to, he could probably charge Donald lol

And btw I think Donald has taken his helmet off to attack someone before, but it didn’t get made too big a mention of

I think he deserves a penalty of some sort also, but I'm willing to forgive him since it was agains the Bengals and with a Bengal helmet. lol

Oh so hitting people with a weapon now depends on if it’s on clear cut camera or on live tv, and if the victim is someone who doesn’t deserve it vs does deserve it. See this judicial system is so fucked up that this shit is actually serious and flies

@rossihunter2 What was your grade/notes on Tyler Goodson if you watched him? He's looked so good for the Packers this preseason and he's likely not making the team for no reason other than they're stacked at RB

Didn’t have a grade or a full set of notes on him but had a couple of notes from watching Iowa:

- Good foot-fire and quickness - does too much at the LoS
- flexes out as a receiver and alignment versatile but not likely a good pass pro player
- can miss reads and doesn’t have consistently good cision
- doesn’t break tackles - but can make defenders look silly in space downfield with his spin move

That’s all I had

It’s not the judicial system lol they aren’t even involved and likely won’t be. If the bengal player wants to press charges he can, if not then he won’t. Other than that it’s up to the rams, which is standard.

1. Doesn't appear as if ET got kicked off for a single punch. Culmination of many events before that, all of which basically indicated he didn't give a shit.
2. You're kind of making the point. It's up to the team to make that decision. I'm sure many teams wouldn't have cut ET for his transgressions, and nobody would have cared if they didn't. Ravens did.
In this case, its basically up to the Rams to decide how egregious this is.

Other aspect of why these aren't comparable is because ET was creating turmoil in his own locker room amongst his own teammates. AD is basically abusing another team, which he's been doing his entire career.

Or, think of it another way... who in the Rams locker room thinks AD should be suspended for making the team look bad? Plenty of people wanted ET out...

Yet another example of assault going unpunished because of the star player syndrome.

Well technically tackling is assault if you are applying the law to football. But honestly I think there are far more worthy causes to support than multimillionaire footballers who got hit with a helmet at training.

This kind of stuff has been happening forever, we just know about it more because of social media and the media in general.

It’s a violent game, tempers flare, shiz happens.

I should remember this one if I ever go and attack someone with a helmet

Imagine your nickname being fucking punt god and thinking you can’t get some on your own from someone of age and that gives consent.

you know I'm joking, right?

Benglas do have a history of playing dirty. I'd like to know why Donald went off.
