The Random Thought Thread

I've spent 2 years hoping it would be the Ravens who put Watson out for the season, injured.

The reality was a lot more depressing than the fantasy, but it's a very thin silver lining I suppose.

Ask Macdonald... he's the defensive coordinator who's supposed to take advantage of situations like that. Oh he's limping, let's blitz him and see how healthy the ankle is, etc.

We got after Deshaun, but how many times did he just step up and scramble for positive gains? How many times did we fail to wrap him up? I'd put it more on execution than coaching, in this game

Forget who it was, and it might have been MM or Harbaugh, but recall somebody in the post-game pressers indicating that there were many coverage breakdowns in our zone coverage that left the middle of the field wide open on several occasions.

I'm still angry at everybody about the loss last week. Losing a game is one thing but being properly manhandled is entirely different story. Not to mention completely folding on their last drive. At home, too. Pathetic.
I felt this game wasn't out of hand when we were up 31-17. Something was off the entire 2nd half....especially when Humphrey went down with an injury. I think that's when it started.

I don't hold everything in that long anymore. There aren't too many times where I take it into the next day, but the Cleveland and Steelers games are one of them that just got to me. The Browns and Steelers game were two different games though. In the Steelers game we did it to ourselves....maybe we helped.....but in the Browns game the Browns outplayed us.

Hopefully when teams come to poach Macdonald from us they look at this Browns game first!

The issue I have is that we aren't learning. How many fucking times will we let a game go after a big lead? Why the fuck do we start messing around instead of flooring the gas pedal?
