The Random Thought Thread

The issue I have is that we aren't learning. How many fucking times will we let a game go after a big lead? Why the fuck do we start messing around instead of flooring the gas pedal?
well we were 79-0 with 10+ pt leads from 2008 to 2021. Now due to the late turnovers that have lost 7 of those games.

It's definitely frustrating. I just yell at the TV during the game multiple times unfortunately and my two dogs go upstairs.

I then calm down after the game.

Keaton Mitchell is the next Austin Ekeler. It's a nice dream and i'm not going to wake up from it.
I mean so far so good. If he can add in a receiving element, i don’t see why not. It’s been fun to have a playmaker at RB again.

Such a strange situation. Looking forward to additional cap savings when he’s gone next year.

Also interesting that Bowser said he's not ready & each week he sits out, he misses another $250K pay day & the team gets an equal salary cap credit. We could use that money to finance some depth signing as injuries start hitting that team

so Cleveland plays the Steelers this week. I hate the Steelers but I'm trying to take that out of the equation.

Who is everyone rooting for this week. I feel we can beat them at the end of the season and the Steelers stink, but the Browns just lost Watson. What is more beneficial for the Ravens.

Let's say we win (I don't think we will but I digress). I want the Steelers to win this week but lose next week at the Bengals. Later on the season, it's Bengals at Steelers. At that point, we'll see.

I don't think we can argue we went conservative in the Browns game. If you look the play calling, even with 14 point leads, it was anything but conservative. Arguably we didn't run the ball enough.

Defense just didn't perform well at all, and you get a pick six on a tipped pass late in the game.

I'm hoping for a Steeler win. Keep the Brownies down. Steelers are weaker. A win last week, instead of the give away, would have nearly sealed the deal for our Division win. The Brownies have the win over the Colts and 49ers. If we lose against the 49ers, an L for the Browns this week helps us.
Kind of agree. Conceptually, if the Ravens beat the Bengals, and the Steelers beat the Browns, Bengals and Browns will have a super difficult time winning the division. You can come fairly close to eliminating two teams in one week.

Steelers I honestly don't even care about. They're going to make the playoffs, but I think they'd literally lose against any playoff team that play. They 100% fall under the umbrella of a "just happy to be there" type team.

The Bengals can beat the Steelers next week... Our last Division game after tonight is the Steelers in the last game. Let the rest of the division beat each other up.

Holy shit, we agree. Ross is gonna lose his mind... :)

The Seelers are undefeated in the division. So the steelers should lose
