The Random Thought Thread

Oh yea i know this.. thought it was something else you all were referring to. We just dnt care about attending games down here.
Miami fans in general do a terrible job of representing. Even when the teams are good. Every Miami game I have gone to the other teams fans tend to drown them out.

Packers, Ravens, and Chargers
It’s because the majority of Floridians aren’t from Florida. So they come here with teams already. Hell I rock the Bucs and Ravens stickers on my truck and wear purple when they come to town. Then add in Florida is an away game destination for fans. Everyone circles Miami or Tampa to visit as their teams away games… no body is going to Detroit or Cleveland or Baltimore or some of these other blue collar cities on vacation

lol..... "Blue collar cities"....... I doubt it's the city or the people that draws them, it's the warm weather.

They still do that wack ass Dolphins song in the stadium? I wouldn’t go if I had to hear that shit constantly either

lot of ravens and lamar fans, remeber the bucs game last year?

Didnt see many ravens fans last year. bucs dnt have a loud crowd anyway but i didnt see many ravens fans.. saw a lot of titan fans this year though… cool people who actually hate the ravens and know alot of about the rivalry
I went to that game. So it wasn't AS much of a home game for us than 2014, but we showed out........well.........at least in the sections behind the Ravens players. It was like 70/30 Ravens fans on that side.

Yea that’s part of my point , no body is circling one of those cities as an away game destination. Why freeze your ass off in Baltimore when you can wear shorts in Tampa and then hop on a boat after the game

Speaking of Florida, the Marine Corps and its infinite wisdom have decided to make me move again. Good news is it’s to MD so I can attend more Ravens games. Bad news I’m going to freeze my ass off as spending the last seven years in the tropics, Middle East, and Florida means I have no idea what cold weather is anymore. I need jacket donations… i will miss this crazy fucking state. Second home forever

Yep..its also much more to do here than to attend football games. I feel in places like indy, sea and kansas city, thats the only excitement in those cities.

Feel like I spend half my free time Disney and Universal with kids and then randomly hit the beach on nice weekends

SON IS ABOUT TO GET A BUBBLE

Never saying never but 2 weeks for a high ankle is a quick turnaround

Very true. It obviously depends on how severe the injury is and we will know more as news comes out. The word is the ankle is stable and no news of torn ligaments (yet). I think it is generally a longer recovery period but if he can put pressure on the ankle and throw, I can see them playing him with the division on the line.

Good news is that if he does manage to make it back, it's likely his mobility is hampered which is a big part of his game. He can obviously still beat you with his arm from the pocket but it doesn't hurt

Sounds like he is going to make it back, possibly before our game

Lol y'all are funny acting like if Lawrence plays his injury is gonna stop him from torching us with his legs. We ironically play absolutely atrocious against even remotely mobile QBs. And even when they're hurt we just don't play contain

I know everyone wants to feel we are the victims of bad luck and random conspiracies against the team

But it is time to admit that we have insane amounts of luck so far this season

- No season-ending injuries since week 2-3
- Few significant injuries at all
- Almost every opposing QB gets injured before or during our games
- Having a bye week and every result goes our way, and not just one, but two coming opponents lose their QBs

Time to stop playing the victims. We had a right to do that in '21. Not this year

That's BS.

We've been the hardest hit team 2 years in a row. This gives us 5 years rights to bitch about it.

I don't agree a ton about the scheduling aspects, but yes, Ravens have (knock on wood) been on the favorable side of injuries in the second half of the year. That's like half the ball game when it comes to contending in January. Which teams are the healthiest. Ravens are one of them today. Will see if they finish that way.

And yes, Watson and Burrow missing half the season is certainly a tremendous benefit to us and the rest of the AFC. Not sure if the Lawrence injury will mean a ton depending on how long he's out.

I don't really care about the Pickett injury, because its Kenny Pickett.
