The Random Thought Thread

The level of motivation teams/individual players need nowadays is so wild to me. I've seen multiple Lions players shitting on Matt Stafford in recent days. I don't think Stafford said one single negative word about the Lions. These dudes are reaching.

RIP. He lived a great long life from the sounds of it. Idk if I'd want to live that long to be honest. Seeing all or most of the ones you love slowly die off would be worse than death itself
he was amazing. He was an attorney, who started off really poor in the 20s. Retired in the 80s and continued to volunter for 40 yrs for other attorneys. About 9 years ago his wife passed away and she had dementia so she was living in a home. He continued to go to that home and help others with the same sickness.

They fucked us with that bye cause of a hurricane i think.

Then fucked us again against pitt for homefield with that damn TD call

Are tickets even on sale? I see Seat Geek has tickets listed already but they can't be official seats can they?
Yep you can buy them for divisional and conference championship. I just bought tickets for the Bucs NFC championship… it’s a long shot but if the Bucs and Packers win Tampa will host and the tickets will be worth triple . If they don’t make it you get reimbursed

Jason Kelce just announced that he is retiring. Should be a 1st ballot HOFer. That being said, many times it takes lineman a little longer to get into the HOF.
Seems like Fletcher Cox is hinting at retirement too. Posted a picture of him, Kelce and Brandon Graham and nothing more. Graham has already said he wants to retire after 2024.

I saw it and I was wondering how they could be on sale already since usually they don't go on sale until after the divisional round. Imagine a Lamar vs Baker Super Bowl... that would be crazy. Lamar beats Allen in the Championship Game, then Baker in the Super Bowl.

I would love it , although I don’t think the Bucs have the horses to get to the SB. We’ll see though

It ain't nothing new. Michael Jordan would get motivated against players who he THOUGHT said some shit about him. Hell he made up a story about a player talking shit about him. Forget which one it was, but I remember it was talked about in The Last Dance.

Checking both Ticketmaster and Seat Geek for AFC Championship Game Tickets and they are expensive. The lowest price on Seat Geek currently is $455 per ticket, while the lowest price on Ticketmaster is $559 per ticket. My hotel room I reserved is cheaper than that lol.
