TJ Brown, a coach for the TopShelf 7-on-7 team, told Scott Thompson of Fox News (via TMZ Sports) that Newton had been involved in trash-talking throughout the tournament, including during a game:

Brown also said that Newton grabbed Stephon Brown, another coach for TopShelf, after they confronted him, which led to the fight. Everyone involved in the brawl was escorted out of the tournament.

Yeah that’s past trash talk, when you put yourself on a pedestal cuz of your money then respect is out the window
