thisI would argue drafting him at 6 was where the issue truly began. I never thought he was worth that pick.

That's just the world Qb desperate teams live in. Your analysis says round 2-4 guy but your selecting him top 10. Brutal spot to be inthis
Fuck no. Daniel jones was a late first project at the absolute best. Realistic range for him was mid round 2 but with the qb boost somewhere between 33-40I would argue drafting him at 6 was where the issue truly began. I never thought he was worth that pick.
Best thing to do was to let barkley leave.. it was nothing there for him besides gaining stats.. they arent close to contention with jones lol. Gm prolly getting fired soon anywayYea i feel bad for that GM. Owener clearly wanted Barkley back and the previous regime already paid Jones. He was in a no win situation
I mean the Ravens problem isn’t that they are soft, or even that they have bad play calling most of the time, but that Williams keeps getting lost on the field, the flaws of Brandon Stephens were exposed and now he is the target of every team, and Roquan Smith is slow at picking up his man, especially when they are either a TE who was blocking or a RB coming out of the backfield.Something I found a bit interesting. Belichek was asked if he ever had a soft team in response to Mayo's presser from a few weeks ago.
Belichek said they were number 1 against the run last year and this year they're 26th. He then said it's the exact same players and they're not soft.
Just seems like a real parallelism to our situation
I'm not saying we're soft. I'm saying it's a totally parallel situation where a top unit changes coaches and with overwhelmingly the same players, drops tremendously in the ranks.I mean the Ravens problem isn’t that they are soft, or even that they have bad play calling most of the time, but that Williams keeps getting lost on the field, the flaws of Brandon Stephens were exposed and now he is the target of every team, and Roquan Smith is slow at picking up his man, especially when they are either a TE who was blocking or a RB coming out of the backfield.
If these guys were being put in positions to fail I would complain about coaching but the plays are there, they just need to play up to the level they have shown they can before. The other 8 people on the field are not having this issue.
Bench not cutCut Marcus Williams, and move Stephens to FS. Outside corners Marlon, Wiggins, White, TJ Tampa with Maulett in the slot. Who says no?

We have to watch our Christmas game on Netflix?Based off tonight, if Netflix couldn't handle the Tyson/Paul fight and the amount of people watching it.... it's going to be a rough one when it comes to how many NFL fans will crash the servers for both Christmas games.
Yep.... Chiefs vs Steelers at 1pm, and Ravens vs Texans at 4:30pm. I just hate that for the second year in a row, we have to be the road team for Christmas. Can we get a home holiday game next year, be it Thanksgiving night or Christmas please? We have to watch our Christmas game on Netflix?
I stayed up late for that shit?
I’m genuinely amazed most of the money was bet on Tyson to win. That plus Paul being a massive favorite meant Vegas made a killing on this fight.I stayed up late for that shit?
I think paul to win was only -220..havent talked to a single person who thought tyson would actually win!I’m genuinely amazed most of the money was bet on Tyson to win. That plus Paul being a massive favorite meant Vegas made a killing on this fight.
I just don’t get why people are shocked. Tyson lacked the stamina to box a full match 20 years ago. Did people think aging 20 years would give him more?
