The Random Thought Thread

I had a dream that the Astros won the World Series and we traded for Ngakoue in a 3 team, 9 player deal. Not sure how that would work.

I don’t care what happens I just want more Lamar lol. In seriousness, I don’t think you can stop Lamar if he has all his tools working and he’s protecting the ball. We also haven’t even seen the best of what he can do yet. Kid’s a gamer, I think he shows up big time.

I’m hoping for a game like the 2012 divisional round. Physical game throughout with one turnover that makes the game seem less close than it was (i.e. the FF on Ridley). If last week was Lamar’s national breakout, I think this could be that type of game for Humphrey.

even if we lose i want lamar to show out and be box office in front of a national audience - for some stubborn idiots the last time they saw lamar was in the chargers playoff game and that will be all they remember of him until its literally put right in front of their faces

i want our whole team to make a good account of itself and if we win then even better - just cant have this game be like the browns game in week 4

Roberts has basically been a blocker
And from what I can see he's done a really good job at it.

We do run the ball a lot it seems (lol) ... often times around the end. I've seen him allow Lamar or RBs to really extend their runs.

I have to think that's why he gets his snaps.

Snead is also a good blocker and he was big in helping Lamar in the offseason and they have become close. I think all three of Hurst, Snead and Boykin will be more involved as we play out the final half of the season.

Read NFL flexed Panthers-Packers in week 10 to 4:25pm. I hope they flex Texans/Ravens in Week 11 to SNF. Nobody wants to see Rams vs Bears, plus Lamar vs Deshaun is made for primetime.
If we were to beat NE ... that will increase the chances of our getting flexed into SNF week 11. However, you have to remember - despite the Bears underperforming, they do have a big fanbase. Let's put it this way - there have been way worse prime time games so far this year.

I would hope for a game like the 2013 AFCCG personally. The Pollard hit on Ridley changed the momentum in that game.

But I agree about Lamar. He is a special talent, and they need to give him opportunities to make big plays. With his feet and his arm.

Every Bears game I've seen is a complete snooze-fest. I hope they flex that one out. It would be nice if they flex us against Houston into SNF.
