absolutely deserved being all pro, more than Judon deserved to make the pro bowl at any level.the fact he didnt get all-pro this year is absurd

They did not run the ball with Gus. It's not like they completed stopped us from running at all. Dude was averaging 6 a carry. not sure why we did not keep running with him and found a rhythm.
I've been quiet for the majority of the season in part to not jinxing or being a daisy cutter, also just enjoying the Lamar show. My one fear and the one thing I expressed to my fellow Raven fans was that the coaches let Lamar down when it mattered most. I hate the analytics talk I really hate that crap. It's one thing to say hey look at these numbers spread across a season..look at the percentages of 4th down conversions to wins etc...but that crap dont fly in the playoffs its 1 game just 1 so those odds are cut immensely. I've said on here before theres this thing called momentum and its real! The confidence of a man could having him playing more focused, stronger than any weight room regimen could, faster...etc. those turnovers were back breaking and the Titans being on the ROAD were getting more confident by the min. The crowd was completely out of it and there goes our home field advantage along with the win. Sorry not sorry but I see the 8/0 on 4th down stat but on a lot of those weren't we up by 3 TD's ?? Lol I mean those numbers they keep posting dont tell the whole story. Yes there were mistakes by players theres always mistakes by players. Of course the players are going to say hell yea let's go for it!! But coach is the father hes the leader hes supposed to say no let's be smart here. I gave coach credit during the season for adapting and taking a backseat to the coordinators, many coaches wouldn't do that. Lamar is only 23 I mean cmon help the kid dont have him throwing the ball 59 Times!! Thats where the true Harbaugh came out, not doing a damn thing to help the team..completely disconnected ...let's have the kid do something that hes never done when it matters most. Where was Gus? U know the guy that recently ran for 100+ yards...14-9 kick the ball off Tannehill INT crowd goes crazy Vrabel starts to do Vrabel things our guys start to settle down...and boom we in control. Cmon man I'm glad I didnt put no money down cause like I said Harbs let's me down every time. Every time. I sure do hope nothing but the best for the kid hes special real good kid, but this was an amazing opportunity that may never come again.
Oh btw remember I said Tannehill would be a starter for another team and we should bring him in as a back up?? Lol I was roasted on here for that.
I was pissed that they got away from the run game too early. Yes we were down 14-0 early in the 2nd qtr. but way too much time left to panic and abandon the run game.
I’m feelin ya man. Harbs is supposed to be one of the best HC in the game right now and I don’t disagree with that, but this obsession of going for it on 4th down even when the situations are questionable, is puzzling to me. I would like to see the analytical data that says it is a good idea to go for it on 4th and 2 when you’re on your own side of the 50 yard line. Especially in a playoff game. Personally I don’t think the data is there. I think it was Over confidence, based on success during the regular season, with little respect for the Titans, and without regard to possible consequences. As you say momentum rules in these games, and this team is not built to play from behind.
We gotta pay Stanley. I wouldnt be opposed to humphrey being let go after his 5th year option. I don't think he's worth the cap. I think we can find a guy as good as him ( if not better) if need be in the draft, either this year or next or year after
You think he’s better than primetime healthy Jimmy? I don’t know about that. Smith was excellent from 2014-2016 when healthy Imho.I agree about paying Stanley, not about letting Humphrey walk. All Pro corners dont grow on trees, hes the first we've had since CMac 17 years ago.
yes but Jimmy never really shadowed either. You think he’s better than primetime healthy Jimmy? I don’t know about that. Smith was excellent from 2014-2016 when healthy Imho.

Humphrey is a very good corner and one that isn't easy to replace, but I agree, Stanley is one of the best LT's in the league and is better at LT than Hump is at corner.I just don't think Humphrey is THAT good.
He's good but he's not an irreplacable type. Stanley is a far better LT than Humphrey is corner.

I think so and thats no disrespect to Jimmy, but Marlon is already an All Pro so hes objectively better than Smith was in his prime, the difference in durability also highlights why Marlon is better imo.
Agreed.I dont think so. Jimmy in 2014 before his injury was playing at a higher level than marlon has so far.

That’s a good question and could be a good debate. Maybe I’m remembering things differently than they were, but I recall 2014-2016 Jimmy Smith as a player who never got the respect he should’ve. He played at an All Pro level to me even if he never got the recognition. He was a very very good player but the injuries really sucked for him. I’m not sure I can say Humphrey is better but I can understand those saying he is. I think both brought their own element to the game. I think Jimmy was a better CB though. That said, I don’t think Jimmy could’ve gone to the slot like Humphrey did.I dont think so. Jimmy in 2014 before his injury was playing at a higher level than marlon has so far.
Jimmy absolutely is a true boundary corner. I couldn't see him succeeding as a slot corner. That’s a good question and could be a good debate. Jimmy in 2013 was unquestionably better than Humphrey has been at any point. Jimmy getting snubbed of all pro that year is an all time snubI think so and thats no disrespect to Jimmy, but Marlon is already an All Pro so hes objectively better than Smith was in his prime, the difference in durability also highlights why Marlon is better imo.

I just have to disagree about the first one. I could see it if the score were tied or we were winning, or even if we were on their 40 or in. Why risk putting your young QB under unnecessary pressure in one of the biggest game of his career. Kick the damn ball and let our defense go to work. I mean We had stopped them on their first series. I agree that we had great success during the regular season on 4th down conversions but this is the playoffs and taking unnecessary risk under those conditions is just not smart IMO.So many people complaining about the 4th down calls and I don’t see the problem - to me they were both absolute no brainers even without the analytics... and we’d been a successful team based on making those sorts of decisions all year so it would have been crazy to change that identity at that point
