The Random Thought Thread

You know I was watching the TD throw by Lamar again to Andrews in the last Brown game and I have never seen a team deflate like the Browns did after that TD at the end of the first half.
I actually got up ,walked around and was muttering I have never seen a QB destroy the will of a team that was playing hard like that.
An incredible throw .

he threw it on 1 leg with his body completely twisted... and if he gets sacked the half is over... outrageous situational throw

lamar made some amazing throws last year but that might be the most special one
After the first half, there was no doubt in my mind that we were gonna win this game. That was such a huge moment for him and the team.

Damn... wish we could have gotten greedy and gave Lamar both Hollywood and Jeudy. Let's ask Lamar who he wants out of the receivers in next year's draft.

To piggyback.. he thicc now.

BRUH! if hes expected to play at 175 this year, thats gonna be the fucking strongest 175 youll see, how does he look like this compared to last year??

with hollywood it was literally just: get screws removed, get stronger, thats already happened, plus he looks like hes way more than just basic work ethic.

at this rate, the only thing thats gonna separate lamar from hollywood as the face of the franchise is the fact that lamar plays qb

AB’s work ethic rubbed off on Hollywood. You got one of the best WR the last decade as your cousin / resource. Same height / body size. It’s awesome to follow his IG account and see all the work he put in. Seeing his year 1 to year 2 jump is what gets me the most excited about this upcoming season. That and Calais Campbell wrecking havoc.

Ravens Players on the PFF All Decade Top 101 team. Anyone concerned with a drop off in play from Calais Campbell should also note his last four seasons have earned him his highest grades of his career. All of which have been in excess of 90. Even If he drops into the 80s it will still be amazing and a huge improvement.

25. G MARSHAL YANDA

One of the greatest offensive linemen of his generation retired this offseason and brought to a close what should be a Hall of Fame career. Every season of his career saw him earn a PFF grade of at least 80.0, and he broke the 90.0 barrier twice over the decade. Yanda was flagged for just two penalties in the last four years and was beaten for only two sacks in the past five. He is one of the best offensive linemen ever to play the game.

48. DI/EDGE CALAIS CAMPBELL

Calais Campbell has earned an overall PFF grade above 90.0 four times in his career, and they have been the last four seasons. All of those years came after he turned 30 years old, and they have spanned multiple teams, defenses and even positions along the defensive line. For a while, Campbell was the best interior pass-rusher in football not named Aaron Donald, before moving outside and proving he could be an impact edge defender in Jacksonville. He is also one of the best run defenders in the game and has tallied at least 30 defensive stops every season of his career.

Hollywood has the same work ethic as Lamar which is awesome to see and if the videos are any indication then he's going to go on an absolute tear this season.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick called UCLA coach Chip Kelly during the third-round of the 2020 NFL Draft "for last-minute assurance" before selecting TE Devin Asiasi, per Jeff Howe of The Athletic.

Wonder if he meant to call Texas Long Hornes head coach Tom Herman and ask question regarding Devin Duvernay, but misdialed and thank goodness for that.

in an ideal world people think of the 2 almost like they're 1 monolith and not 2 separate players

partly that might be down to a defensive change when he went from arizona to jacksonville where he moved from a 3-4 to a 4-3 and wreaked havoc in that 4-3
