Well there goes AB to TB.

AB is a Buc now

AB already impacting one Tampa team, he gets signed and the Rays are getting dominated by the Dodgers 6 to 1 lol. I don't get why he chose Tampa over Seattle. If he would have chose Seattle over us, I would have understood but Tampa? Dude needs to see a therapist about his Tom Brady addiction problem.

Bucs offense doesnt cause any confusion at all. There arent any guys in motion or any of that. Seems like they rely on their guys to get open based of just route running.. well now they have 3 guys on time that can do that

We suck at developing wrs man.. if we were decent, it would be cool but we really really suck, however... we are dam near great at all other areas.

Yeah that’s the thing I don’t even know if we need speed because Roman isn’t calling those deep throws and LJ hasn’t hit on them as much as he should either. As Rossi kinda said I think we just need sure hands more than anything and some good routes. I think Duvernay can give us the speed if it’s called.

Honestly I’d rather just sign AB and be done with it.
A lot of good possession guys in the 2021 draft. Just sayin

So what you're saying is that he will be up to speed quickly in that offense? Yikes lmfao
It’s been what, 8 years since he ran a play for Bruce arians? I wouldn’t bet on that. But then again I also wouldn’t bet on AB not succeeding in aspects like picking up the playbook since that’s largely a work ethic hurdle

I’m not sure we will trade for an OL to be honest despite everyone and their moms and dads wanting one. I think that it would be at TE or WR if we made a trade for another player because while OL has been an issue we also have 10 guys on the roster there at that position. I think we would likely cut someone at WR than OL. I’m also not convinced we bench Skura got Mack. You also have to wonder that any OL from whom we trade will likely come at a premium cost and also take time to acclimate into the system and learn the calls.

OL may be the hardest position to add in the middle of a season honestly. There’s a lot that goes into it.

If Earl Thomas hadn't followed thru with his grievance we might have been able to coax Kyle Rudolph away from the Vikes too. We'd probably have to send them a player at this point to dump salary to be able to do it, but that kind of trade would do wonders imo. Another viable TE who's also a good blocker, that's money well spent to me.

It’s a thought that’s never crossed my mind but Kyle Rudolph would be a beautiful fit here. He’s that happy medium between Boyle and Andrews although definitely more on the Boyle side, which is probably more what we want considering the run game struggles

What a mess Earl Thomas was this offseason

Fun fact: this is the 2nd game in a row against us where Wentz and co. failed to convert a 2-point conversion in the last minute or so.

What were the knocks against Ngakoue coming out in the 2016 draft? I remember there were people on the old board who weren't interested in him.

he was a bit raw, didnt look great against the run, didnt win quickly often on tape - had some sacks where he was untouched

people seem to pick and choose when things are or arent knocks on certain players depending on their biases - on ngakoue the only real knock seemed to be how unrefined he was - but the athletic skillset was always there as was the production in his final season - he had something like 45 pressures and 13 sacks in that final year

No a lot of us were very high on him and most of us were pissed that Jax took him 1 spot ahead. He did have knocks though, and they basically all still apply, he doesn’t hold ground in the run game and has a wrap and drag tackle technique that is pretty shaky, he was and always has been a pass rush specialist, but he can make some plays in the run game penetrating gaps
