And YET again he misses the Steelers game at PIT. The last time he played there against a Big Ben-led team was in 2013 IIRC. 2015 doesn't count because Vick was who we played.
 
i hope and pray we don’t bring any double QB plays out until the playoffs. i don’t want teams to be able to prepare for that

Yeah, I don’t want to waste any trick plays on a team that we shouldn’t need any trick plays to beat. I just want us to play some sound football and control this game from start to finish.

That game left such a bad taste in my mouth especially since I work with a Bengals fan (and a Chiefs fan before he retired).
 
@Dom McRaven aww man lol. luckily idk any bengals fans so i didn’t have to hear about it. but numbers aside and last years ending removed, do you think this roster is playoff capable ?

Yeah I was seriously contemplating calling in sick. However, I realized I would just be delaying the inevitable. Now, prior to this game, I felt that this team is most definitely a playoff team because the offense looked improved in the preseason. After this game, I'm still convinced that we're a playoff team.
 
I'm not a Lamar hater by any means, but I think he's a little ways away. Which gives me a lot of hopd actually. But if Lamar doesn't become a much better pocket passer by 2 years time, I think we're all going to miss Flacco. I think post 2012 Flacco has shown us that when he's healthy and has talent he is an above average quarterback. And when he's hurt and surrounded by no one he's below average. Regardless at the end of the day, you can win with Flacco, I hope we get to say the same thing about Lamar.

it’s no secret lamar needs to develop as a passer, but he’s got everything he needs to achieve that around him. i think james urban is going to do wonders for him, i’m just afraid if joe plays lights out this year he gets snatched.
