The Random Thought Thread

Oh damn guys Darious Williams was picked up by the Rams. I’m kinda pissed we didn’t drop McClellan instead now.

We still have Hill on pup. Darious is too small to play outside, we're just to crowded to have a rosterspot for Darious right now.

Yeah we have 4 healthy corners rn and 5(!!) inside linebackers. That’s stupid. And McClellan mr special teams ace had a freaking penalty yesterday smh our special teams can’t get any worse so no point having him on the team now that CJ is back.

Whatever we did last week to beat the Steelers needs to be done again the rest of the season. Everyone needs to live that day over exactly like last Sunday. If you went to Walmart to buy underwear, you need to go there today and buy the same brand. You can return them on Monday. I need to get my wife to make her meatballs again today! Hope she goes for it...lol.
Fuckkk man I did a 10 mile hike through water in a state 10 hours away and then had my appendix burst idk if I can help you out on this one

Why can't we ever pick a WR in the 2nd round if we're not going to go in that direction in the 1st? Watching Michael Thomas makes me so sick because of how badly I wanted him. Taking him in the 2nd would've been absolutely perfect. In the 2014 Draft I badly wanted a WR but instead of that we went with BPA which blew my mind.

Seriously, when are we going to hit on a WR in the draft?

Random, but it's totally frustrating watching Crabtree play and seeing all of these young WRs make plays. I think we're legit the only team in the league who can't draft a receiver.

Thomas would have been great but, honestly, I don't think he becomes in Baltimore what he became with Sean Payton and Brees.

I think he would have still been a great WR. He has a 93.9%(!) catch rate(best in the league) and he pretty much catches everything thrown his way. He wins on his routes and knows how to exploit soft spots in coverage. He's a real stud and I still think he's a Pro-Bowl WR here. Plus if there's anything we know about Joe and this offense, it's that they know how to bring the best out of some players. We've seen it with Steve Smith Sr., Mike Wallace, Torrey Smith, and Kamar AIken among others.

If those guys can play at their highest level here, then there's no doubt that Michael Thomas can as well.

Scheme, coaches and qb play. None of ours match what they have in NO and he also plays in a dome at least 9 games out the year.

There's no telling how he develops on our team.

Physicality, great route running, and great hands work in any system.

Didn't Tandon Doss have good hands and route running? Real easy to look at a finished product and assume that everything goes the exact same on another team. So I'm just assuming you think AB would have flourished here too?

I think he'd be better than anybody we had but definitely not at the level he reached in NO. You just cannot overlook the fact that he caught 93.9% of the passes thrown by the most accurate QB in NFL history in plays called by one of the best offensive minds in the NFL.
