2 things. First, I do not believe RG3 will be on this team after the trade deadline. 2nd, I believe Alex Lewis will be fully healthy relatively soon, but will have lost his job to Hurst and Brown swapping positions.
I think a team like Jacksonville could use him. He could be their "Trent Dilfer" if you will. game manager who doesn't throw them out of games like Bortles does and can make some plays to win it. With a defene like Jacksonville's I could see it.who's trading for him though?
you apologize to the Rooney's right now. How dare you! I want a 20 paragraph apology or Chris Collinsworth is going to come and "now here's a guy who can kick your ass". Apologize to the league now!tbh the Steelers really aren't heating up. They are no better right now then they have been all season. Don't let them winning 2 games fool you

Given the contract, yes. I'd trade him for just about anything we could get that's better than the comp pick. While making Jacksonville better is obviously less than ideal, it's still better than anything we could get for the guy. Maybe trade him to Chicago? I mean, Trubisky is horrible, but they won't give up on him just yet(even if they should. Don't let the stats fool you, he's not a good quarterback). To Dallas so he can torment Snyder twice a year(Dak isn't a good QB either. Thanks for ruining Romo's career Jerry). Tampa Bay? Jameis isn't a good QB? Oakland would likely give us KO back straight up since they are in fire sale mode so I'd entertain that idea tbh.Is he worth trading though for a 5th round pick?
Bear with me because my logic is odd so I might be crazy. Ignoring whether the Ravens want to make Jacksonville better or not (I would think no), trading means he cannot sign somewhere else in the offseason which is 1 less FA leaving.
While RG3 would at most get us a late round comp pick, he could serve as buffer to let the Ravens sign a FA and still keep the comp pick from losing ZDS which could be a good one.

Gruden won’t let go of his best offensive player. Mack can get you a blockbuster trade and he isn’t offense so Gruden doesn’t give a shit, he put cooper out there hoping to get blockbuster offers but cooper has fallen off a cliff.Given the contract, yes. Gruden also has that 10 year $100 million contract.... so he doesn't give a shit and will be there for at least a few years. You never know, he might want to rebuild the team in "his own image".Gruden won’t let go of his best offensive player. Is there a bet available?Gruden also has that 10 year $100 million contract.... so he doesn't give a shit and will be there for at least a few years. You never know, he might want to rebuild the team in "his own image".
*proceeds to trade away any noteworthy player*
He will then take Laviska Shenault because he is an idiot. Is there a bet available?
Cause I am putting the house right now that Gruden is going to do whatever he needs to get the #1 pick in '20 or '21 - depending on when will Tua declare.
Considering how far Gruden leans offensively I’d be shocked if KO wasn’t in his imageGruden also has that 10 year $100 million contract.... so he doesn't give a shit and will be there for at least a few years. You never know, he might want to rebuild the team in "his own image".

I would agree if Gruden didn’t appear to be completely out of touch with the modern nfl. He’s been away from coaching more than long enough for him to have fallen behind on the times.I have literally no problem with Gruden rebuilding the team the way he is. The Mack trade probably won’t work in his favor but he’s one player. The Raiders weren’t going anywhere in last years state. They needed a rebuild anyway. Let Gruden build his team and then we will see if the raiders made a good choice
Yeah but he hasn’t been away from the NFL. He’s still been studying as much tape and watching as many games etc as anyone. To add to this... Other teams have their wide receivers throw a trick pass or something and trust them with the ball for one play. I really dont see confidence from this team when they have Lamar on the field. Always just seems to be a run play. I really do not think the team is comfortable with him throwing. No one may trade for RG3, but we may have to cut him with Canaday and Dixon... Others coming back. I just don't see them cutting bowser over RG3. The one thing that I find concerning is the lack of passing attempts from Lamar. I get that they're nervous about him throwing, but if he never throws, his plays will become too predictable. The fact that he has one passing attempt outside the Buffalo game really has me concerned. That's the one reason I could see RG3 staying, lack of total confidence in Lamar.
