It would surprise me. Those days where we go into an AFC/NFC powerhouse Home and beat them are long gone, I don’t think we’ve done that in years so to do it now would surprise me. I wouldn’t be shocked if we lost to Cleveland and Oak tho.

Not the Raiders for sure but Fitz.... that's who I'm afraid of.
 
I don't like colin cowherd but this might be the most accurate thing he's ever said:

"Baker Mayfield just needs a new coach. Josh Rosen just needs a new OL. Lamar Jackson just needs an opportunity. Sam Darnold needs...everything."

I wanted James the most out of any player. I think Hurst has a lot of potential, but it hurts to see James already balling out like one of the best safeties in the league.

It's some fraternity. Regardless of their love lives, I think both of these guys are future studs in the making and two less pieces to worry about assuming they continue to progress without suffering any horrendous injuries.
 
In my best Mike Singletary voice...I am so tired of looking pretty good in the preseason only to see this team regress as the regular season moves along every year. I would rather play with 10 guys and get penalized up and down the field then play with 11 guys and have bad play calling and coaching keep costing us games. I can't keep taking the heartache. Can't do it !
 
two things about that should’ve been td pass to lamar. he would’ve been only the second qb to have a pass, rush, and receiving td in their rookie year. kordell stewart. and on the defensive side, did the steelers have a breakdown where nobody covered lamar or did they know from film if lamar wasn’t running the ball it wasn’t going to him ?

it was a coverage breakdown - it happened twice in that game with defenders looking at each other and pointing at the open receiver but no one actually going and covering (it happened with buck later in the game too)

and they had to take a timeout vs the panthers to deal with 10 men on the field with an uncovered player - it's a defensive disorganisation thing

Considering Rivers is lighting it up this year, I have no earthly idea how anyone thinks our record would be the same. We would have more points in every single game. Even the games joe played pretty well. We would’ve easily won last Sunday because those throws that joe missed, Phil doesn’t miss. We would’ve easily handled the Browns.

To say we’d have the same record, and the Chargers would as well, is one of the stupidest things I’ve heard in a while and they obviously aren’t paying attention to how well Rivers is playing. Especially compared to joe.

Im sure during the offseason he was saying Darnold is the guy and Jackson wont be any good
