oh yeah he absolutely hated lamar jackson
tbf once he saw him play he changed his mind but yes he spouts any opinion at the drop of the hat and isnt a great analyst nor does he have any nuance to any argument he makes - pure minimum research rhetoric - i just enjoyed the full turnabout where he now loves lamar

Uhh when did he begin liking lamar because I haven’t seen anything close to that lol
 
So we are going to have a bunch of teams fighting for ONE playoff spot in the AFC. Second Place in the AFC West, be it Chiefs/Chargers will easily lock up the 5th seed. Then it's a mad scramble for the 6th seed.

How did we miss out on all these players man.. alot of 1st and 2md yr guys are looking like studs.. from late 1st rnders to 5th rnders man. What are we doing wrong?

Shit decisions by the FO. I recently went thru the drafts from 13-18 and it's goddam disgusting who we didn't pull the OBVIOUS trigger on at times.

In other news... Teryl Austin was let go. JS

A litle funny that half a season of poor play and injuries and he's out the door, but Lewis still has a job.

We're only drafting players with a clean background or we overthink prospects.
I doubt we'd draft Jimmy Smith today or I think 2000's Ozzie would've drafted Derwin James.

If you think The Ravens are only drafting players with clean backgrounds then I dont think you did research on Alex Lewis,Tim Williams, Darren Waller and etc. Nothing clean about their record at all and Tim Williams was a third rounder.

the qualifier is no history of even smell of DV or sexual crime in their past...

we can deal with drugs, traffic incidents, other character concerns, even a jail sentence which i think is a pretty ok stance to have tbh

Tim Williams ok and maybe Jernigan, but the others are 4th to 6th round picks and have never been touted as 1st round guys.
We're doing very well in the later rounds, no one is questioning this. I'm referring to 1st and 2nd round, those are your franchise guys. All of our recent 1st and 2nd picks check any background test.

Jernigan was the year of the incident and I'm pretty sure before it all really came to light. The others are later round picks as someone else pointed out. I did mention Tim. A player like Mixon deserved to be taken if we're just speaking football.

I also come from a school of thought where I really don't care what a player does off the field as long as they are there on game day. I'm not here to admire or look up to these athletes. I'm here to see a winning product. Couldn't care less if one of the guy's a scumbag off the field as long as he's performing.

who should we have taken with character risks since?
 
I mean we did take Matt Elam and he turned out to be a huge drug dealer lmao so I wouldn’t say all our early picks pass background checks
