The Random Thought Thread

Right! Skins fans bug me the most other than Steelers fans for whatever reason....
That’s because they are 40 miles south. My reason is the damn owner. He’s a douchebag that doesn’t care about his fans or season ticket holders. You’d think that would be the same but thas re are so many corporate ticket holders and many aren’t fans at all

You’re not kidding AND the Redskins lost!

Yeah but it sucks they lost Alex Smith for the season as he had them winning and leading the division. The worst part about is Dallas is a game behind them and will be the team to take advantage of Smith's injury. Cowboys fans are worse than Redskins fans.

Yes, this is very true. I don’t like injuries no matter who or what team it is

Saints drives since the start of the 4th quarter vs. the Rams in Week 9: FG TD End of game TD TD TD TD FG TD FG FG End of game FG TD TD

me neither but there's nothing that really indicates either way for sure yet - the picture will be much clearer after week 12
in the next 2 weeks:
  • the ravens and bengals play each other
  • the colts and titans play each other
  • the colts and dolphins play each other
there will likely be at least a 2 game cushion between some of these teams by the end of those 2 weeks
although there is a possibility that that would be impossible - all those 5 teams can be 5-5 after this week's slate of games (if ravens beat bengals and colts beat titans - dolphins are at 5-5 and on bye)

to quote myself: but this actually has happened:

the ravens beat the bengals
the colts beat the titans
the dolphins were on bye

all 5 teams are at 5-5 and we win all the tiebreakers at the moment and are now the 6th seed temporarily

Colts got a really easy schedule though. Titans were never gonna make it imo so its gonna be out of us and colts..

Colts remaining games are Dolphins, Jaguars, Titans, Texans, Cowboys, and Giants. I would say most likely record for them is 3-3 and 8 wins will not get you in.

Dolphins have no chance.

Titans have probably 2-3 losses in there, they are my darkhorse to be close but the Ravens beat them so that is bad for them.

I think the Bengals lose 2 and do not know how the tiebreakers fall if that happens (both Ravens and Bengals at 3-3).

Ravens have 2 likely losses left and are heavy favorites in the other 4 games which means 9-7 is likely the magic number.

No but Bisciotti did once when he hired kubiak against harbs wishes and gave him free reign to hire all his assistants

Did anyone ever come up with a basis for that or is that still just a random fan conspiracy theory that one website came out with?

Mike Preston pointed out that Biscotti said that he was "willing to make changes if he felt they were needed" in his 2013 press conference. RSR people ran with it.

has harbaugh ever put together a great staff ???

That’s a major flaw of Harbaugh

Who has put together great coaching staff? Serious question here but I think this is an overstated concern. You definitely want a good coaching staff but I feel this criticism of Harbaugh is a bit overblown. He’s had some very good coaches here who have left to get their own promotions. Coaches on offense have been an issue but definitely not defense. Even then I wonder how many of those coaches were bad or whether the talent on offense was bad. People used to say we had a good RB coach and other coaches. Funny how losing can change perceptions
