The Random Thought Thread

I must say. Im not sure we should invest in outside recievers. I feel as though Lamar would benefit more from slot guys like we saw with Snead this year. Only outside guys id want are those with a large catch radius who can be red zone threats. JJ arcega whiteside comes to mind

I love me some Arcega-Whiteside no homo, he’s made the jumpball an art form, and is a surprisingly good route runner, I haven’t noticed it on film but a lot of write ups on him suggests he struggles to beat press.

I think I’m going Hakeem butler over him though, he’s got legit megatron potential, like if we took butler and he was a bust, I wouldn’t even be mad, he’s clearly a first round talent imo and if you drafted for pure potential he might hve the highest ceiling of any offensive player in this draft.
 


Not sure if this has been posted but Lamar played Madden with a famous YouTuber lol it’s pretty neat. You can really see the generation gap between lamar and other players doing stuff like this; I love it as it gives more insight

Did anyone of you guys record the Shrine game or have a link? Would be interested to watch more than the mere highlights.
Years ago I used to rely on a site called Noonkick that kept uploading every possible NCAAF game but must be shut down since some time, apparently
 
Let's sign Tony Romo and buy out his CBS contract as a "Defensive Assistant" and he can just tell Wink what the offense is going to do so we are ready for it.

Just have him replace Harbs as our HC. People around the league will be saying, "McVay who?".

I hope he does because so far him and Nantz easily make the best announcing duo in the league. I do wonder though what would happen if a network tried to lure Romo away and if he would take Nantz with him.
