  • I can't remember who asked Harbaugh but they adressed the chargers game aswell, specifically about Stanley's feet. Harbaugh admited they were simply outcoached and outplayed. But it helped them 'seeing a defense drastically adjust to their offense' it will help them moving forward.

tbf he also pointed out that OL having tells is nothing particularly new and that it's just part and parcel of all teams's games - we just have to execute better and Ronnie has to be better at throwing in the occasional curveball

Some notes from Harbs end of season presser - apologies for them being a bit of a mess (one of them i found zrebiec had a quote so i copied that in too):
  • LOL - Lamar has already said he’s going to be working with his receivers through the offseason and has seemingly already been proactive about working on his passing game in the offseason even before he comes back to the ravens
This is why he gives me hope for our future. I'm inexplicably triggered by the LOL, but I digress (INB4 snowflake comments).

  • Another important point: They will build a new offense and special teams from the ground up like they did last season with the defense.

Jeesus I hope they do. Idk what's the actual reason for it but our ST has looked bad this year. More often than not our returner was surrounded early by defenders with the lead blockers nowhere to be found. Idk what's the specific problem but I really hope they so fix that thing.

There seems to be a big disconnect between how the team and how the fans see Bobby Engram
I’d venture to say it’s more like how HARBS see’s bobby engram compared to how anyone with a pair of eyes sees him.

The failure to develop WRs has been the biggest detriment to this franchise over the years and both hostler and engram play a big role in that

To be fair, they didn't have much to work with.

I agree. We haven't developed anyone, but who did we have that was young to develop? Perriman. Chris Moore. I don't even know who else. Chris Moore was a fourth round pick and plays like one. Perriman was a first rounder and probably the fastest guy in the league and he did not materialize. I am not sure how much of that was Engram though. Perriman seemed to be really in his own head. Kamar Aiken did have that 1000 yard season. Mike Wallace and Steve Smith I belive also had 1000 yard seasons. I'll say development hasn't been great, but instead of getting fired, he got a promotion. Idk makes you think

I don't want Brandon Williams to go anywhere. Just give him a microphone and let him annoy people all day lol.

Williams to Mahomes: "Mustard is Better"

Well these receivers like Aiken, Torrey, etc. never developed, they played extremely well with flacco and never did anything again, Wallace was developed in Pittsburgh, Steve Smith was developed in Carolina, we have never developed a good receiver, we had some guys who came out of nowhere and had s good year or 2 but proved they haven’t “developed” because they did jackshit elsewhere.

Perriman is potentially a supreme talent and came on really strong for Cleveland, I agree it was a lot of mental but he had a solid 2016 and should’ve been in a good place mentally in 2017, ready to go, but he regressed greatly, is that mental or was engram unable to take the next step with him? Based on him doing what he did as soon as he left, I’d say that could definitely fall on the ravens.

That's a huge overstatement. He caught 2 passes at most in the game. Scored, so much better than he did for the Ravens but really strong?

You can only take advantage of the chances you are given. He burned the Ravens each time his number was called and will certainly be on a roster if not starting next year because of that
