So, what are you saying? We should be mad at Peanut? I'm already pissed at him for not snagging that easy interception against the Chiefs. lol

I'm honestly not even mad that Jimmy got hurt again; I expect this to happen every year. The good thing is that it happened earlier rather than later so he should hopefully be able to finish the season and the playoffs (should we make it).

It’s also hard to blame a player for getting injured when it came from being rolled up on by a teammate

From @Filmstudy

Skura: Matt anchored effectively versus some big opponents. He was bulled for 2 full pressures by Nnadi (Q2, 2:17 and Q4, 7:34). He shared another pressure charge when bulled on a stunt by Jones (Q1, 7:19). He missed 4 bocks, 2 of which were less costly inability to make a block in level 2 to go with 2 loses at the LoS. He made 7 blocks in level 2, had 1 pancake, and connected on his only pull. He had a highlight combination block to tee up DT Xavier Williams for Bozeman, then blocked Hitchens in level 2 to lead Edwards 9-yard run.

Scoring: 78 plays, 71 blocks, 4 missed, 2.5 pressure, 66 points (.85 per play). That’s a B after adjustment at center. I continue to see pleas to replace Skura at center, but his job is in no jeopardy. Matt had a C- season in 2018 at center, which was a solid contribution from a 2nd-year player who isn’t eating much cap. This year, he’s playing at more like a C+ level through 3 games, which is a significant step forward. I’ll say this…if he continues this level of play for the remainder of 2019 and takes another similar step forward in 2020, he’ll be a sought-after free agent prior to 2021.
That's really interesting to hear.

Lol @Filmstudy saying if Skura improves this year then improves the same amount next year he'll be good enough to sign somewhere. The only good game he had was against the Dolphins defensive line which is made up of no-name scrubs.

It seems really stupid to give up a generational corner because you want your players to play zone and not man.

It makes no sense. Why would you limit a player from doing what he excels at??

Players are taking more control over their careers for this reason. How many players phase out of the NFL because of "systems" coaches insist on running and ignore the personnel they have

What i think is that they were trying to get ramsey exposed when they allowed him to follow hill game but then he started to lock hill up before he got hurt.. was playing great d on hopkins before they made him start playing zone...

Ramsey is trying to show why is worth the contract he wants yet jags not allowing him to prove himself by playing zone knowing they have the worst safties in the nfl..

That is disgusting. The man has a narrow window of time to make money before his body and time takes a toll.

Thats why I get it when players exercise their leverage. Remember when the Steelers tried to bully Bell into playing for low value and refused to trade him out of spite, then he held out of spite and the Steelers got nothing? That changed how teams trade away disgruntled players, they pull the trigger faster now.

I agree, either pay them or let them go.

Bingo. It could have happened to anyone on the team, but it just so happened to be Jimmy, unfortunately.
It really wasn’t that bad of a roll up and shouldn’t have created such an impactful injury, but he can’t be blamed, it seems Jimmy just has peanut butter for connective tissue. lol Again, not his fault, some people’s bodies just aren’t as tough as others. Webby had similar issues.
