The Random Thought Thread

I wonder if the titans this offseason would be willing to trade adoree Jackson... totally random thought because I scrolled past his highlights and watched them, but the titans need themselves a qb and maybe they would see a second round pick enough compensation for a cb who’s been good but not great and will be up for re-signing soon. He would solve the returner problem and not only give us a secure returner but if we’re forcing a lot of punts and we are a 35 minute TOP team, we get a guy who can turn the tide of a game any week by flipping the field on one of many punts, and obviously he would be a nice add after the departure of jimmy smith, add more range and playmaking to the secondary at the expense of savvy and physicality, AND a potential gadget weapon.

Again, totally random, but this team feels weird having no answer at returner, it’s a staple of all great ravens teams through the years

I mean we just signed De'Anthony Thomas so maybe that's something

ESPN First Take: "Are the Ravens the biggest threat to the Patriots?"

Max: When Patrick Mahomes comes back, it's the Chiefs.
Marcus Spears: 100% agree, don't even have to talk.
Stephen A: Same here.

Also Stephen A: Says Russell Wilson will win MVP.

No respect at all. Ravens go to Seattle, handily beat the Seahawks on their turf. Destroy the myth of the Pats defense two weeks later. Yet still no respect.
Good, let them doubt.

I personally love when we’re underdogs. Totally fine with me

Here’s a really random thought

Watching nick Boyle, I’ve been noticing something he does that’s really impressive, he has edge rusher levels of bend and balance, when he catches the ball near any kind of boundary and he knows he’s gotta get downhill, he has this innate sense to bend and get low and get his shoulder down, but he’s still running, and he often does it as if he’s pushing up against something, like an edge rusher would do trying to bend the edge, and you can see a lot of momentum as a result, when he gets in that “GET TF DOWNHILL” mode he does not look like someone I’d wanna tackle.

For example, the TD catch vs NE, and that big catch and run late vs Seattle where he lunged and slid another 10 yards on the wet turf.

Not sure I'd say we aren't getting any respect, because we are in the top 5 in power polls across the board, but I understand what you are saying as well.

I’m happy to just keep making the doubters eat shit. Hate us, please. This is what we are used to and this is how we like it.

Got caught in the youtube rabbit hole and ended up on a Lamar interview during the combine. He's our starting qb now and we deserve some goddam answers! I demand a timed 40 from him and Hollywood.

I think LJ ran a 4.34 unofficial 40, but I'm not sure when it occured or if this is even true, but recently heard it.
