The Random Thought Thread

One guy I would love to have here is Mike Evans in the offseason. I’d trade quite a few picks for him. The Bucs can’t keep him and Godwin. Mike would be absolutely perfect for us. Big body for Lamar, probably the best run blocking WR in the league. Obviously it’s just a pipe dream, but I randomly thought about this the other day.

Because i live in tampa and was a fan of manziel, ive been able to watch evans dam near every sunday.. dude is a fucking monster. Drops some passes once in a while but man, imo he is better than evans. He also is very very fast at his size

I hated mike Evans in the draft but goddamn has he proven me wrong, and if I could choose any wr in the league for this team it’d be Evans. Hopkins to me is hands down the leagues best but I think Evans is the best fit and without too much drop off

Evans, atleast this year is the best WR vs. Man coverage. Ironically it is Godwin that is the best vs. Zone coverage.

Marshall Yanda in his presser stated that Greg Roman has the biggest playbook he's ever seen and he has seen a lot of offensive coordinators.

Lamar Jackson said he wants to be a great practice player because that will translate over. He also emphasized that it isn't just him and it is a team game.

I love LJ, couldn't ask for more! Well maybe another 20 years or so

Lol that’s weird as hell, I’m surprised Godwin has become a zone beater, he always struck me as a contested catch guy at least back in college.

But yeah, I’d say to hell with the pass rush if we could land mike Evans, my god it would be incredible

Loved him out of A&M and wanted him to fall to us. Definitely would fit here idk what the Bucs would be asking though

13 year vet Marshal Yanda on Greg Roman: “he’s got the biggest playbook I have ever seen. He’s got a ton of stuff. We do a ton of stuff to keep defenses on edge, every single week he’s going to throw new wrinkles at them, keep them honest.“ #Ravens

If you have either one of them in fantasy, this is good to know

was my favourite wr in that draft and pre-combine i'd hoped he would fall to us

I would go with Landry if I could choose anyone, he's pretty much the closest thing to Boldin and that's the type of WR we're missing. I would def take Evan's too

Why are we now talking Mike Evans when everybody is saying how we can't keep all our CBs and sign Judon? Evans will cost an arm and a leg.

AJ Green all the way, if we pick FA receiver.

and I'm not agreeing or disagreeing for that matter on getting AJ Green. We have to make sure we are able to sign our own impactful players before we go outside the organization to get them, atleast the expensive free agents. The only concern I have with AJ Green is his recent injury history. He hasn't played since week 13 of 2018 and he only played 9 games in 2018 and of course he hasn't played one game through week 10 this season.

Lol

I wanted to discuss the possibility of losing Greg Roman at the end of the season, due to how well we are doing this season. Although after doing some research this is what I have come up with....

- Jets --- Sam Darnold
- Falcons . ---- Matt Ryan
- Lions . ---- Matt Stafford
- Browns . ---- Baker Mayfield
- Jaguars . ---- Nick Foles or Mindshew
- Redskins ---- Fuck that

If these teams decide to go in a different direction at the end of the season, I don't see them looking at Greg Roman to be the head coach as neither has a QB that would fit Greg Roman's scheme. That being said, he did coach Andrew Luck in college, so there is that.

Any thoughts on this and if we did lose him, would you want us to go outside of the organization or give David Culley or James Urban a chance.
