that is absolutely frontloaded. Paying him 20.5 million in year one would mean we pay him 10.75 in both years 2 and 3.

A lot of that depends on how much endorsement money is in the equation. Tom Brady isn’t as altruistic and team centered as it would seem. It makes it a lot easier to take less in your contract when you’re making it all up off the football field. That in itself is a boon to the franchise.
