ESPN's Seth Wickersham reports the league and team officials have agreed on a proposal to raise the debt limit $150 million for each team to make up for lost revenue in the event that games are played without fans this season.
The proposal will be voted on next week. A recent study conducted by Patrick Rishe, the sports business program director at Washington University, showed the NFL would lose about $138 million in revenue from tickets and game-day fan spending for each week played without fans, and nearly $2.3 billion over the course of a full season. The increased debt limit has been discussed among league executives for weeks, and this pitch would raise that allotted amount from $350 million to $500 million for 2020. It's another step towards the league eventually commencing on Thursday, September 10 with the Texans and Chiefs as scheduled.

Thinking they could offset much of that through increased TV revenue. The folks that would suffer the most are the stadium workers, concessions, etc..

In light of this additional revenue, they should have no reason not to pay those workers imho. At least pay them some subsidized amount for their livelihood.

Bit bored so I youtube arthur brown ravens.

Boy that was one pick I got hella wrong.

Kudos to anyone here who said ''Bust'' during the 2013 draft. Easily the worst second round pick we've had IMO

Bowling is a fucking sport, you heathens! @ me all you want.

it is a fucking sport and I have a 193 average. So there...

I also agree! Did leagues for years growing up. Mostly bowled in the Glen Burnie area and would bowl until 1:00am on Friday or Saturday Nights with friends. When I've gone back to Maryland for Ravens game, I'd go back to the bowling alley and it's sad how dead it is now a days. Now that I live in the Charlotte area, all they have is 10 Pin Bowling, and have no clue what Duck Pin bowling is lol.

Nice! I'm in that same ballpark in my league. I NEVER want to hear anyone who likes or participates in golf say that bowling isn't a sport.
i participate in the USBC Open every year, which would have been in Reno this year, but we cancelled our trip. It's a man-cation. Next year it's in Vegas and the following year is in Houston.
