I kinda feel like proche has a chance to be a special player. His hands are very hyped, for obvious reasons, his hands are SPECIAL, and he is no slouch as a route runner, blindingly quick feet, no stiffness at all, and just needs some coaching there so he can learn how to really put those quick feet to work, but something I’ve noticed that he rarely gets credit for is his YAC ability, he’s just a skilled ball carrier, he’s quick, aware, and crafty.

the pair of receivers from this class I think can step in for this team and make an impact immediately, and become big names by year 3. Just gotta really hope that Boykin can do the same

The apparent ease of his weight loss. I am doing jokes.
It doesn't even surprise me anymore. You see a TON of Olineman basically shred weight with ease post-career.

I mean, them cutting calories in half, when they're probably eating like 5-6K calories a day (or more), will shred like 30-40% of your body weight in a matter of months.

we picked 2 guys who can do things with the ball after the catch - those are the kinds of plays where there's less of a learning curve as long as you can get the ball into their hands

the type of prospects where if you integrate them into the scheme they're likely to have at least some play early even if they dont develop immediately as route runners or true receivers in that sense

that being said james proche is for sure a savvy receiver

look, im all for police reform because i think the police culture in this country has been on a spiral into hell since the war on drugs began, and its now peaking and really boiling over after decades of worsening abuse of power, and anyone who doubts this reality has their blinders on and 99% of people wearing those blinders are wearing them for one reason, they're either racists, or ignorant assholes who were raised by racists and have never taken the time to educate themselves.

that said, its been 3 days of training camp live, where the whole first 10-15 minutes is about literally nothing other than social justice, and beyond that opening its sprinkled in all over the place, the talk about football and sports in general seems to be decreasing by the day, and i wish, respectfully of course, that they would shut the fuck up and make it about football, please, for the love of fuck, talk about football. every fucking where you turn your head its either coronavirus, politics, or racial/social injustice, it is literally flooding our brains, tv, radio, youtube, social media, everything is focused entirely on one of these subjects, and there are like two fucking safe havens from these subjects that are flooding our brains with negative energy, nature and sports, and since i have a full time job i cant appreciate nature that much, let me have my fucking sports, for the love of fuck.

i mean i get it, but also the team made a pretty historic statement regarding actual tangible specific goals for social justice - maybe the first of its kind (its specificity) ever made by a professional sports team - to ignore that when talking about the team this week would be to ignore the most major talking point about the team

the other thing is that the training camp live broadcasts arent really ever revealing anything new anyway - just talking over pictures of players in individual drills so obviously they're going to go over the same material

its the same way that they talk about deshon elliott every single practice post-earl thomas

tbh i dont even know what the statement was. i have purposely tried to avoid the subject. the constant flow of negativity is very bad for my already poor mental health, and with the pressure and anxiety i have to deal with in my personal and professional life i cant afford to add the constant negativity and drama and doom and gloom of the world on top of it. i wont go into details, but lets just say that i am essentially done with these topics, all of these points of drama in the world, i cant read about, listen to, or argue about them. now that im back to work full time, and my job pushing at the pace they are pushing, i cant, it will drive me to very bad places mentally, and i just wanna fucking avoid it and hear about football, its the only effortless, relatively stress free thing i have to look forward to right now, no matter how shitty the ravens coverage is or how little they give us, its just one of those things i would really appreciate having right now, just something for my ears that im interested in that isnt negative or about serious real world topics that drive my brain to a negative place, but here we go with EVERY FUCKING OTHER MINUTE OF COVERAGE BEING FLOODED WITH IT. im all the way fucking done with the topic, im sorry for those most affected by it, i truly am, but i myself am in a place in life where im scared of what my future holds and my grasp on my own well being is tenuous at best and i dont fucking need to hear about it anymore.

and if it sounds like im being aggressive towards you im not lol, just venting about how sick i am of this shit and how i just wanna hear about fucking football and not police reform.

In the latest video from the scrimmage, did I see Ricard look to make a pretty athletic catch before trying to turn up field?

Man it really seems like the Ravens want to squeeze every bit they can get out of him. Obviously that's great, I just hope they aren't too reliant on him.
