The Random Thought Thread

I really hope Rosen lands somewhere and ends up with another starting opportunity down the line. He’s certainly underwhelmed in the NFL but he’s also been in 2 of the worst scenarios imaginable. Would love to see if he could actually do something with a team that wants to win. I actually think the Steelers would be a great opportunity for him although I’d hope he doesn’t do as well if that happens

Regardless of the situation he has been in I don't think he has the brains nor the work ethic to make it. Can't coach that.

honestly he should try and find his way to chicago

I don’t think Rosen ever becomes the Chosen one a lot of us thought he could be. He just has a bad attitude honestly. Soooo glad we got Lamar, he’s almost entirely the antithesis of Rosen. Mayfield is also a guy I liked but it turns out he has a bad attitude too but his was a bit more predictable I think. They’re both jerks just different flavors of jerk.

The exchanges I've had with Sarah Ellison on twitter have started to annoy me. She drinks too much koolaid for my liking, I guess thats why shes popular and Preston is hated for being objective.

it would be really cool if justice hill stayed on pace with his week 16/17 performance and really showed something. i havent given him enough credit, i just watched the condensed games for the whole season, and he had a lot more moments than i recalled and he showed real RB2 ability.

iirc he outsnapped gus in the Titans game too

With how “light” we went at TB/FB, I expect us to run some heavy 2Rb sets with probably Ricard at FB/TE even. With Dobbins and Hill and even Ingram that’s a lot of hands from the backfield

Unacceptable tbh

I like ricard and Boyle on the same side with hill
or dobbins in the backfield, lots of speed and lots of ability to seal that edge

Gus could see his snaps drop

Like I said, hes hated for being objective.
no, he's not hated for being objective. Some of his articles are downright awful and his opinion is really bad. He's had a few on Lamar Jackson that were ridiculous. It's not objective that he is hated for, because being objective is a good thing. He just seems to have it have something against the Ravens and tries to spin articles to the negative on many instances.

Was just about to post this - pretty telling that we didn’t want him anywhere near the money he wanted and yet he still wanted to be here lol

also pretty telling that he didn’t want to go to the browns despite them offering more than market value

that’s the pull of a great organisation and Lamar Jackson

We have a difference in opinion, I've followed all of our beat writers over the years and never felt Preston crossed the line or has some sort of grudge.

In the end it looks like he got what he wanted, $15m to join a playoff team isnt so bad. Still it would have worked out even better had Jurrell Casey re-signed.

I wasnt high on Clowney but after losing Earl putting him opposite Judon would have been a nice consolation.
