Eh, oh well, I think I’ll side with you because you’re a damn good analyst yourself when it comes to film. But I’m glad we didn’t draft him and landed JK and Mad instead

haha madubuike and mims were probably my 2 favourite guys in the class - when we took a RB (no offence to JK lol) and then traded out after mims was taken i was melting down

I was pissed about the RB thing too, until I looked Dobbins up more and saw the immense talent he had. Thankful we got him now because I don’t think anyone saw Ingram taking a complete 180 after the season he had before

idk tbh that there was anything ever going on with the gurley situation - he's a local guy who they brought in for a workout either to potentially add him to the team or to do a local dude a solid and help his agent drum up some interest

the only thing ive seen that's suggested anything more was from that twitter account that's notorious for just shooting darts

it may also be that he's a guy that we'd look to add after week 1 when salaries are no longer guaranteed and after we've done some reshuffling - or even a guy we have on call like dez bryant last year where we bid him farewell but knowing that if he's still available after some injuries or whatever that we can bring him in

i just dont feasibly see him making the team outside of injuries unless they think that justice hill isn't going to factor on special teams this year...

not only JK and Mad, but if we drafted mims we probably don't go the Bateman route as the article mentions.

Loved the Dobbins pick. Knew Ingram was at best a 2 year deal and Gus was going to be a FA. The problem was I knew we'd be slow to give him the snaps he most likely deserved and that's exactly how the season started. He's about to take off this year.
