2019 Lamar was literally unstoppable and I’d take him over any one of those that year honestly. Mahomes had a plethora of weapons where Lamar was throwing to the likes of Seth Roberts. Plus it’s not farfetched that he can return to that form with a solid offensive line and better weapons. I will never respect Russell’s overrated ass

Id take lamar over every qb even today just cause ....but in reality, he wasnt better than any of those guys regardless of year..

Only one of those guys won the SB though, and none of them received a vote for league MVP
 
I know titans got a nice playaction game but got dam our shit crazy too.. just watched a 10 min vid of lamar pocket passes and dam.. i know we have more weapons now but i hope we dnt get away from what we do best.
 
I used to talk shit about averret when he first started getting some play for us lol but i remember before he got hurt, he was looking like a whole new cb.. shit at one point i was calling him out best man cb lol ( it was only during games)...i hope he can come back and continue to progress

even in 2019 he was starting to improve toward the end of the season, comparatively to earlier in the year, especially during the browns game 2019. He's a valuable backup for us and could easily start on most teams in the league.

Unfortunately we won't be able to extend him and some team out there is going to get a good corner for a relatively reasonable price tag, imo.

he just wasnt ready in 2019 - looked really good in 2020 especially for a 4th rounder
