With a typical Ravens defense, he ordinarily would have done enough to win. It's so interesting to see that Roman can scheme/call up some really effective albeit limited stuff, but he just doesn't like to use it with Lamar. And then there is stuff like the QB running plays that he has no business calling for Huntley LET ALONE JOHNSON, that he just can't give up calling.
Sometimes I just can't help but feel like he can't get out of his own way.
I think your post was well said. Not and indictment on Lamar , but certainly concerning that a few backups had performed so well when Lamar had not. We really need him to comeback this year and play to the level he is capable of. He is an emotional dude and needs a positive performance to right his mind IMO.
Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I don’t think Roman is the problem. I actually think he is doing a really great job with what he has. He has called some good games, and the players obviously responded.

I can't explain this very well, but when you watch Lamar, there is something that looks very natural about him playing.
When you watch Huntley, it looks a little less natural and a little more calculated. I feel like you can really see Huntley is mentally working hard to perform the way he does.
Watching Johnson, I felt like you could tell despite the lack of starts, he was a very natural and comfortable looking veteran.

i genuinely think that what you're seeing and noticing subconsciously is the wind-up in their releases and fluidity of their arm movement
That could totally be it!
Pocket presence. Lamar has been panicked lately, but even when he’s panicked he looks more comfortable in a collapsing pocket than Huntley looks in a clean one. Huntley has boller-esque pocket presence.i genuinely think that what you're seeing and noticing subconsciously is the wind-up in their releases and fluidity of their arm movement
All of a sudden, that "look at that flick of the wrist" song is stuck in my head. Thanks, rossi.lamar has one of the whippiest and easiest releases in the NFL - a flick of the wrist to fire the ball from all different arm angles whereas with huntley it's like he's trying to throw a javelin
Boller-esque pocket presense? You mean the boy’s got happy feet? Lol. Now there’s a blast from the past.Pocket presence. And back on the outside looking in with the Dolphins getting the W tonight.
Side note on the Dolphins… Tua is not that good but somehow they’re a much better team with him at the helm. Would be interesting to see what they could become if they had gotten Watson.

They started the season 1-7. Since then they have won 7 straight. Pretty amazing turn around.or if they'd picked herbert instead of tua
that OL is probably their achilles heel but they're a well-coached outfit with a great defence and a good redzone offence (if not a good between the 20s offence)
i really like flores as a HC
Crikey mate! After a tough day yesterday I am pleased to inform you all that the mighty Aussies have retained The Ashes. For the unaware it's essentially the cricket version of the civil war.
Bit annoyed that the Sydney test is a dead rubber but we classless Aussies don't mind kicking a pom when he is down, plus it's in a private suite so probably won't watch much cricket anyway.
Happy New Year!
