The Random Thought Thread

Loving the people having a melt down over Musk’s Twitter purchase. When they stop being so fatalistic and calm down they’ll realize he is going to improve it. Hopefully he can get rid of these F’in bots and then help out FB and Insta.

i mean there's a legitimate reason to censor abuse on a platform...

and you can actually say whatever you want on twitter - it already is a free speech platform... but if you say something awful or abusive it might get deleted afterwards but there's no one stopping you from saying it in the first place

freedom of speech is not freedom from consequence

Twitter is heavily left leaning with its censorship of post and topics. Accounts are suspended for non abusive comments that simply don’t fall in line with current agendas. I’m very excited for Musk who I truly believe wants better for the world and works hard for it. Also love he speaks his
mind and trashes both sides of the political aisle for their ridiculous ideas.

Far left and right are the worst kind of people. Hopefully this leads to a rise in centrist……. And serious get rid of the F’n bots. People are arguing with robots and don’t even know it lol

i mean i have literally no doubt that musk actually doesnt want a better world

dude's wealth comes from benefitting off apartheid, he and his libertarian tech bros constantly going around coming up with dumb solutions to problems without researching shit lol - his vanity gets in the way of him actually improving the world around him

during a global pandemic he leveraged his wealth to make himself 10 times richer and taking advantage of global crisis

he's an asshole and he's really not that clever

he's famous for 3 things really... paypal, cars that explode and space tourism
i guess now 4 things now that he's decided he's going to fix traffic by building a tunnel

The thing is here for whatever reason the world likes to just put people into extreme categories. Someone is either a total scumbag or they're truly a hero. The truth is no one, not anyone is either. Everyone is just somewhere inbetween with obviously varying degrees.

Musk is clearly a savvy guy who was able to take family money and do a TON of impressive business with it. People always like to nullify the success of people for not being totally self made. Go look at plenty of examples of people who were given money and were total failures. It's not easy to successful business man.

All that being said some of the things he's done have and will be beneficial for many people on this earth. There are other things that he's done and will do that will hurt others.

Whether you like him or not, whether you think he's as ethical as you'd like or not, the dude has found a way to make himself one of the most influential people in the world and he's around to stay.

He's not evil but he's certainly no Saint.

Rossi is just upset when people who don’t fall inline with his ideologies have influence. Musk will live in his head for a while and then like everyone else , life will go on and he’ll be fine.

Change is good, excited to see what happens.

totally agree and certainly happy I've had a good amount of TSLA shares for more than 2 years. That being said, I was not a fan of him purchasing Twitter, but I'll give it a chance since I have no say in the matter. lol

Hell my new puppy's name is Tessie. She is 5 weeks and will have a pic when we bring her home in a few weeks.

i mean im absolutely fine lol - it's not like musk magically just started existing as an entity today... im not upset lol - just find it odd that people go to bat for musk when he's such an average guy

but i will never fanboy for a billionaire... their literal existence is evidence of exploitation and wilful evil
