This is the point. Griner is the textbook definition of what liberals hate... she's "privileged". They got an ex-Marine over there, who's been there for 40 months, that remains over there. And they gave up a mass murderer and drug kingpin to bring back some WNBA "star" that five people watch play.

At the very least, if you're going to exchange a mass murderer for Americans, it should be plural, not singular. I don't really care in the grand scheme of things if you do the deal or not. I care about how you're prioritizing which people wrongfully imprisoned come home, and which don't. And you're letting the media dictate that.

The hypocrisy is Biden saying she was unjustifiably prisoned for breaking a law. While we have many incarcerated here in the US for weed violations SMH.

I think the Ravens are pretty firmly in at least wild card contention if they can keep their current pace, but I'm not expecting a ton from them in the playoffs at this rate.

You've got a person that the US considers "wrongfully detained" being held for 40 months, and another, who technically isn't even being "wrongfully detained", given that she admitted she violated laws in that Country, being held for all of about 10 months. The latter gets traded prior to former for what reason, exactly?

Depends on when Lamar gets back, and who they match up with. If they ended up playing Tennessee or potentially Miami, in the WC round, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Ravens beat those teams.

As presently constructed, even with Lamar, I don't think we have a good chance of beating KC, Buffalo or Cincy in the playoffs. Especially on the road. I'm not convinced we'll get blown out, but I don't think we'll win either.

2 out of 4. 10-7 is highly likely to getting a playoff spot in the AFC.

For me, there's 9 teams vying for 7 spots. Realistically, I think Buffalo, Miami, Cincinnati, Tennessee, and KC are mostly locks to make the playoffs.

That leaves Jets, Patriots, Ravens and Chargers vying for 2 spots. Ravens owe tiebreakers over Jets and Patriots, so as long as we finish with at least same record as them, we're good. We're also still 1 game ahead of Jets and two ahead of Charges/Patriots.

I'd say 10-7 is possible for the Jets, but I think it'll be tough for them to get to 11-6. They still have road games against Buffalo, Seattle and Miami.
I personally don't think Patriots are a threat at all. Their last three are against Cincy, Miami and Buffalo. They're no lock to beat Cardinals or Raiders next two weeks either, both on the road. I saw a stat earlier, but they basically haven't really beaten a decent QB this year. Only mildly competent QB they beat was Goff. They've beaten Goff, Trubisky, Brissett, Wilson (twice), and Ehlinger. They've been beaten by Tua, Lamar, Rodgers, Fields, Cousins and Allen.
They still play Tua and Allen again, and they have to play Burrow, Murray and Carr. I think they finish 8-9 or, at best, 9-8.

Chargers are the one that probably will be most likely to surge. Two tough games coming up against Dolphins and Titans, but I think they're a live dog against both, and their last three are about as easy as it gets (Colts, Rams, Broncos). I think they'll finish 10-7 when its all said and done.

So two wins gets us to 10-7, which I think, at worst, puts us in a three-way tie with Chargers and Jets. The problem then becomes our win over the Jets means nothing. Then it would come down to conference record.

Regardless, this sends a piss-poor message to many of "us" who served in the military that "we" can serve this country, and if we happen to get incarcerated in a foreign country for 4 years; it will be the high-profile sports figures, movie stars, and other celebrities that will be selected to be released over "us". Man, please! Not the type of message that should be sent to our military forces and their families. Great day for BG and her family but a sad one for the Whelan family. But that's my view. And I agree, it was dumb to travel to Russia in the first place.

Interesting. The Ravens also own the tiebreaker over Cinci correct? They are presently 2-0 in the division with 4 divisional games left and they are 4-4 (so far) in conference play. I believe that they could possibly lose 2 or 3 of their 4 division games.

Ehh, maybe. I think they'll lose to us at least once, and I don't think they'll beat the Browns with Watson. I'd say they're 50/50 to beat Raiders. I think they'll win their next three, get to 8-7, people will start chattering about them again, and then they'll drop their last two.

They basically have to go 5-0 to guarantee themselves a playoff spot anyway.
