The Random Thought Thread

If Greg Roman and Harbaugh don't have a 'mutual' parting of the ways at the end of the season, then Harbaugh needs to be forced to fire him or be fired himself.
I really do not see it happening. Injuries will again be another excuse, especially when it's Lamar that's injured. I fully expect Roman to be back. Think this was the only way we could get rid of him. I honestly wouldn't blame Lamar for leaving either

Or was it actually having Pat run a route? Or all of thee above?

Bro I just now realized that's Kenyan fucking Drake running a route hahahhahahahha

i dont see that being an issue

defence was as injured as offence last year and he still parted ways with Wink too...

but i hate to break it to you... despite the injuries, we're statistically doing ok vs the rest of the league this year too

Honestly Roman has always been unfairly used as a scape goat. He's not with out flaws but dear god the offense is void of talent. Be it injury or front office failures that man has done more with less...... anyways wheres my pitch fork ?

Nah, I believe this is Roman's last year with the Ravens. It's either him or Lamar and that even might be too late. Gro is not horrible but we've seen the best he can do with this team and that's not enough. We will never play to our potential consistently with Roman.

Sending 2 receivers out after all that motion only to throw into triple coverage.

So I don't think I mentioned it when it happened, but I'm partially "torn" on the analysis of this play.
For starters, I hate the play call IN THAT SPOT, but I don't hate the play call. Offense ain't doing nothing. Gotta create a big play somehow. If those goes for a TD, he's a genius. If this happens, he's a moron. There's no middle ground.

That being said, I'm torn. On the one hand, if you're going to call this play, you have to teach it in a way that the WR (Proche) understands its NOT a must-throw. If its being taught and designed as a must-throw, that's tremendously stupid.
On the other hand, is it reasonable to expect a WR to make that call? I honestly don't know. He's not usually in the business of reading defenses, but at the same time, I can 100% confidently say we've drawn up plays like this on hungover-after-Thanksgiving, past-prime, backyard tackle football games, and even the moron knows not to throw it into triple coverage, and when he basically can't even see the open receiver.

Plus I hate that the RB is the receiver in this spot.

Overall I hate it, BUT, I understand somehow why its called, and I think the WR needs a little better judgment here.

To make it simple, because I broke it down in another thread, it is VERY difficult for the Ravens to not have the tiebreaker over the Bengals. For it to even be possible there is only 1 scenario: Bengals beat Browns then lose to Buccs, Patriots, and Bills. Then the Ravens lose 2/3 division games and beat the Falcons. That is the only scenario where it’s possible and even then the Ravens probably still have the tiebreaker.

Basically tie goes to the Ravens in almost any scenario.
That's good news. Thanks for breaking that down.
