Yeah if you have an educated guy like Dan Orlovsky taking the counter in debates it makes for interesting dialogue. Something really nice comes from the debate. Preston does it but is legitimately stupid in terms of football and the Ravens.

I don’t think he’s as stupid as you think, especially about football.

I think more so the blurred lines between journalism and social media where anyone can say anything without citing a source.

After he was fired he then retired for health reasons, in the 2014 offseason he came back when the ravens made him an offer

Well oddly enough it’s a major plot point, newspapers are on their way out as the internet takes over news in early-mid 2000s and sensationalist reporting made up of flat out lies and totally invented stories became the preferred method of news for the Sun because sensationalism was the only way to sell papers anymore.

So honesty and ethics were not part of their priorities in the Sun.

I know that once he was fired he decided to take it easy for health reasons. I think their were some teams interested in him to be HC again especially with how good their offense looked with Matt Schaub.

Not surprising tbh. The NBA has devolved into hot garbage. Outside of Grizzlies/Warriors, there really aren't any competitive rivalries nowadays. Plus, it's a 3-point contest/layup drill regardless of which two teams play.

At the end of the day it's about what sells. Unfortunately the public keys in on shocking headlines and doesn't really care much for calm discussion with experienced experts on a subject.

Yeah he lacks the self preservation gene that successful nfl players must have. It’s not really quantifiable but being able to minimize impact to yourself without sacrificing play is about as important a trait as there is.
