Exactly. 2019 and Lamar spoiled us old fans and brought a lot of new fans that aren’t used to the true brand of Raven football. Strong defense, strong run game and shitty QB play lol

I agree. I do believe EDC has tried by taking WRs with his first pick twice and rumors suggest attempted to again.

It’s heartbreaking to say but I can see the FO trusting their scouting department and restarting the clock at QB.

We've put a lot toward the position but a lot hasn't panned out as this alludes to. The bigger issue in my mind is that our top WRs post Hollywood trade were Bateman, Duvernay, and Proche. I think that's where the failure lies. There was no active approach to get better at the position after moving on from a pretty good option at the position.

I agree in the sense that they should have replaced Brown. I wasn’t a fan of going into the season so thin in the WR room but my point was that they have attempted to put pieces around LJ. If Hollywood doesn’t force his way out we have a decent WR room imo

I do agree that the scheme and play calling needs a change. I would love to sign LJ long term and see what he can do with another option at WR and a better passing scheme but I can see the FO letting him walk if he demands more money than we think he’s worth and believing in the Raven way of strong run game and defense with a game manager at QB.

Agreed. Hollywood and Bateman were a good duo. Just sucks that we made no real concerted effort once Hollywood was traded. Not saying they needed to go out and draft a WR in the 1st for the sake of it like the Titans did with Burks, but also don't like how passive we were.
