Roman is an idiot. His ego got so blown up that he does not have anything but vanilla in a short game. His entire running playbook seems to be predicated on designing big plays for either RB or QB.

I can't help but puke at thinking of all the times where we got into the redzone and completely went away from what was absolutely working on a long drive. Roman kept getting cute and trying to look smart, when he in all reality looked like a complete dumbass

i mean some of that is that defences play you different in the redzone because of the shorter field
but the level at which we consistently went away from the run in that area of the field was self-defeating

In what world does a "run guru" go away from their strongest point on offense to by far their weakest point on offense when you're in touchdown territory. It makes zero sense.

Because he's a run Guru, but he thinks he is a pass guru because Lamar had some big games under him (where he probably audibled a shit-ton), and thinks that he is just an amazing OC
