he's really nothing like Patrick Queen and more of a Bowser replacement at SLB. They aren't the same type of player. BTW, that's not a bad thing as long as we use him at his strength. Watch his tape in college at Clemson.

I agree with this. That being said, didn't he play a bunch of WLB yesterday? I'm not sure at all, but that was my impression. Can anyone confirm or deny?
He did. And that’s probably where he’ll be next year. Think the skill set fits SLB but he’ll almost certainly be fighting for an inside role next year. May rotate out but don’t think they have it eyed as a full time job as of now.

I think it's possible he's used in a multitude of ways. One because that's what happened in college and 2 because that's what MM likes. Think what @Truth was saying may be right. Think we could definitely see Del'Shawn and Simpson carry Queens workload. Simpson primarily, but if he moves into a SLB role, they would be ok to bring in Del'Shawn.
might be a wrinkle if we want to start using more dime again
but more likely we just use him how we use LBs already which is to be multiple and line-up everywhere anyway

That will obviously require in-house promotion to DC.
which we've had almost every time for the entire harbs tenure (macdonald being the exception and he was the heir apparent when he left for 1 year)

Yeah, Mike's in-house. Michigan year doesn't matter.
I didn't see his post but could actually see this happening as well. Del'Shawn played well last night and it's not like we can say it was only in the preseason. He was going up against starters.
and 3 AFC North teams make the playoffs too

Yeah what a dumb play. He wasnt close enough to the goal line to run that play. Just like us last year.

This felt like worst case scenario. 3 of the 4 Ravens losses are against the Steelers and Browns and if either one wins in the wildcard it sets up a division playoff game, which never goes how you expect it to go.
Ravens path a Super Bowl, you’re going to beat some quality opponents. Dolphins defense (I know Chubb injury), was playing at a top 5 level until the Baltimore game and they will likely have all their speed guys back by that game, Bills defense has quietly picked up steam and Allen is one of the best QBs in football, Browns with a top defense and who other than Joe Flacco at QB, ravens have been what, 1-7 against the Steelers and they sneaked in but may be at the expense of Watt, and then Mahomes another top quarterback with a top 5 defense.
So many quality teams in the AFC it makes me sick.
