Bro where is Walker? He's never been injured enough to not play at least a few PS snaps.

I will say, I can't decide if I'm annoyed by the blind optimism of fans in the offseason or admire it.

With the way some fans talked about Walker, he was going to be Torrey Smith on steroids his rookie year.

I definitely didn't think Torrey but that he would be helpful for deep shots on PA a couple times a game and opening up underneath for the other guys. We haven't had a "burner" since Hollywood.

One thing I didn't give credit to with the Henry signing was the Ravens adapting their offense to be so under center.

I stand by the thought that Henry wouldn't have been an ideal fit for the Ravens offenses of past that rarely went under center, but the ability to adjust and go under center effectively wasn't on my bingo card.

not so sure I agree.

Last year with the Titans Derrick Henry carries the ball in shot gun 56 times for 281 yards and he carried the ball out of pistol 43 times for 192 yards. That's 473 yards on 99 carries or 4.77 ypc. I'd say that's pretty successful.

Yea it's great when you can use him from under center without a doubt but he would succeed either way.

I think this whole point was overblown. They wouldn’t have been maximizing Henry by continuing with exclusively shotgun and pistol runs, but that doesn’t mean Henry is gonna be wasted here. His big run came out of the pistol. Henry is the type of back who is gonna be effective on any team in the league as long as he gets his carries and the offense around him doesn’t suck assholes.

Adjusting to his presence by running under center more certainly helps, but continuing our old ways would have still produced results.

I’m over here thinking how irrelevant that face mask is when you let a statue like Cousins throw for 500 yards. I’m loving the revival of Baker. I wonder how many other solid QB careers were ruined before they started because of poor organizations

Cousins was lucky enough to be lowballed early in his career.

And of course Baker Mayfield just keeps pissing on the Browns.

He had been doing well in San Diego for two years prior to moving on. They just decided to go the Rivers route due to his injury, so yes it coule be an example of a save issue but not in the same light of the other ones being mentioned.

Tampa is super banged upped on defense. There is zero excuse for not dropping 27+ on them. Pass rush is non existent as well. Literally our only hope they year is hope Baker stays on a heater with Godwin/Evans
