The Random Thought Thread

I’m sure I’ll get flamed for this but I do think Josh Allen was at least deserving. I still think Lamar should have gotten it, but doesn’t mean Josh wasn’t a top candidate too. By the definition of MVP, he carried a largely shitty and injured team pretty far and I respect that at least. I think if Lamar didn’t win it last year under virtually the same criteria, he’s the no doubt winner this year.
His O line and run game was solid tho. Decent WR and TEs

I saw someone say it best, the ones who get a vote but spew hot takes all voted for Allen. While the serious ones voted Lamar, I mean I'll take Brady, Dungy and Tedi Bruschi's opinions more seriously given their football credentials and accomplishments over Dan Orlovsky.
Mina Kimes too

Their WR and TEs are bad. It is painfully evident how limited they are when you see the Bills play. Just to draw the direct comparison, since the debate is Lamar vs Allen, Ravens have the better OLine, the better RB, the better TE room, and the better group of WRs. Outside of the OL I would say none of the position rooms on offense are even close.

Agree to an extent. We were the number 1 seed with one of the toughest schedules in a division that sent multiple teams to the playoffs. There was also no clear candidate. Last year I honestly had no problem with CMC or Allen winning. Dak and Purdy didn't feel deserving to me.

At the end of the day, it's done, it's over. To me, I think the voters simply got the years wrong when it came to Lamar's second MVP. 2023 overall was a weak year for MVP and so basically Lamar won by default. Dak, who finished second last year which is crazy that it's the Bills fans whining about Allen being robbed was 5th in voting last year. Cowboys fans have more right to say Dak was robbed last year than they do, 49ers fans can say CMC was robbed(though us spanking the 49ers on primetime basically ended those hopes) but they still have more right to say CMC was robbed compared to Allen.

This year, how you ignore Lamar's stats and say he isn't MVP is beyond ridiculous. If it wasn't for Lamar winning last year, he would have won this year if Dak or CMC won it last year and Allen would have 0 MVPs to his name.

Anyhow........ San Fran or Bust next season! Lamar going to go back to San Fran and put a whooping on whoever comes from the NFC!

Their WR2 was Mack Hollins. Josh’s weapons weren’t all that. Solid ass OLine tho. It’s not a bad robbery imo

Wait what? Who gives a fuck what Dan Orlovsky thinks? Or Emmanuel Acho? Those people? Those people are the ones that vote for MVP?

I didn't care about this in the first place lol. Now I really couldn't possibly give a fuck

I know a lot is based on winning... so fuck Eddie Jackson, Marcus Williams and especially Brandon Stephens for essentially costing Lamar his 3rd MVP.
Losing to the Raiders hurt bad, but so did losing to the Browns. Raiders was almost squarely on the defense, but the offense was all out of sorts against the Browns. And unfortunately, that happened to come as Josh Allen was finding his groove with the Bills.

LMAO at "football character" being a reason.

It’s been pretty obvious for a while now that the media wants somewhat good looking white/biracial dudes to be the faces of the NFL

They want Lamar too. Lamar just doesn't want them.
After the fuckery that occurred last night, I’m just not so sure anymore
